Art Class [Always Open]

Sitting in her bed, her feet setting to the side as she waited for the sun to go down. That’s what she hated about being a vampire the most. She had to stay inside during the days. But with her age, sleep wasn’t necessary anymore. Not even a want. If she tried, she couldn’t sleep. Each time she closed her eye’s, the darkness would bring memories she wanted to erase.

She stood from her bed, making her way to the dresser. Pulling out clothes to wear. Flipping through the cloths, she spotted a dress. The same dress she wore the day her lovers life slipped away. Right from under her in a blink of a eye. It happened so long ago, but it felt like a small amount of time. A few days ago. She could still see his smile and hear his words.

Making her way down the stairs, she acknowledged other vampires that spoke to her. Even though she was a turned vampire, she was still in charge of them all. Making sure each one of them got fed properly, and made sure they didn’t try and feed on the other students. “Good Morning Aizen-Sensei.” A small girl replied. She gave a nod along with a smile as her hand passed along the cheek of the girl. “Good Morning child.” She said before disappearing through a door.

Finally, she made it to the art room. The smell of paints mixed in the air. She loved it. She could work with any type of medium. Oils, Acrylic, Charcoal, Crayon, Pencil, Marker. Even Chalk. But her favorite medium was using paints. Pulling out a the canvas of a painting she’d been working on, she began putting the finishing touches to it.

Practice had wore Ayzen down and now that the scar was almost gone the faint smell of blood still lingered on his skin. Even after the showers he tried to get rid of it but it still remained. Now that the competition was coming up over the weekend practice was only going to get harder and even more dangerous. As Ayzen made it to the floor with his art class he came to his art locker and set down his gym bag as he opened it to look for the key to his locker pad. Once he found his ID he slid the key to open his locker. He pulled out a large drawing tablet and some a pack of 120 Prisma colored pencils. He placed his gym bag inside of the locker and looked down at his towel on the floor by his feet. He took it and placed it around his shoulders since his hair was still wet.

After closing his locker he walked to his art class. He loved to draw and make designs but he never really put too much into it as a passion like he did with his cooking. As he came to the door he could hear some of the students already inside but the smell of paints was filling his nose. As he opened the door and stepped inside he saw his teacher. She is the head master of all the Vampires on campus and she knows about Ayzen's temporary 'fix'. Infact those that don't have partners she prescribed the 'fix' to them as well. He knew his check-up was coming soon and it made him a little nervous. He walked up to her and her easel as he smiled at her warmingly. "Good lovely night Aizen-Sensei" Ayzen mentioned as he adjusted his grip on his large tablet and colored pencils in his hands. As he watched his teacher finish her beautiful painting.

She was like the equivalent to his cooking. She had such grace and such artistry her own works could have their own museum. She took pride in everything that she did even though she was a mixed Vampire. Ayzen couldn't help but stare at the painting as if he was mesmerized by it. The colors and the strokes she made always fascinated him for some reason. It also reminded him of his father who would use watercolor and create beautiful landscapes. In fact one of his fathers paintings was in the Commons. Most of the Library had Aizen's mastery held for all to see.

As Ay looked around the empty class he figured either he was too early or that exams were the only things today for Vampires. She usually held them in the class on certain days. Ay already had his examination and since his as done he figured he would just head home if class was going to be slow today. "I will turn in my assignment which is due next week." Ay smiled as he head out the door and back to his locker.

What a waste he could have gone straight home...but then again Zack was on his mind thus far into the night and he wasn't about to let this slip by. His last class was hours away and it was only a study group since their midterm wasn't until Thursday. Ay placed all of his things into his locker and decided to go handle business the right way.
