| Full Name: Yukio Miura, Nao, Yukio KiyomizuNickname: Yu, YukiGender: MaleMarital Status: SingleAge: 16Birth Date: December 19, 1994Grade: Freshman in high schoolDreams: To find the one place he belongsAppearance Hair: Pale blonde, so light it appears white in most lighting. It’s always been cut in a short fashion, and he’s never grown it outEyes: A pure pinky red, a common trait in those with albinism.Height: 5’5Build: Yukio has a very slight frame, thin enough that he has a very girlish figure with almost no apparent muscle tone. He has red scars that wrap up from his left leg up all around his chest and up his neck finally ending on his left cheek. Also, due to the fact that he was kept inside for the first fifteen years of his life with little to no contact with the sun he has very fair skin, akin to that of an infant.Personality Yukio is numb. Numb to the world, both the good and the bad. At a young age he became so introverted that he seemingly locked away himself in his own mind, all to protect himself from the emotional trauma he was put through from birth. He especially seems to be detached when anyone gets too physically close to him, almost as if he’s just an empty husk of a body. If forced to though, he will engage in the things going on around him. But it’s just an act; a mask to get him through the day and survive just a little longer. A will to live is the only thing he has left. It’s that last little spark inside him that keeps him going, pushing through all the pain, the suffering, the loss… However, slowly after a year of being out of the hell hole he’d grown up in he is starting to rejoin society, if only because of the utter determination and dedication of his adoptive parents. When it comes to sex, or any kind of physical contact (especially around his neck and face) he completely and totally shuts down. Past experiences have scarred him so badly that in fear of losing what little sanity he has left his mind acts defensively by detaching from what’s going on around him. Because of this he naturally has an extremely hard time connecting emotionally with someone, both of fear of being hurt and of potentially losing that person in the future. Every single person he’s ever held dear was ripped forcefully from him, always leaving him alone and more broken than before. Eventually when he does allow himself to get close to someone, he might sometimes act clingy or reluctant to be away from them. All because of his fear of once again being left alone. He prays that as long as he can hold on to them, then they might never leave him or be taken from him. The only time he ever actually shows fear is when around non-humans, after all the abuse he’s suffered he’s simply unable to keep himself from reacting when in their presence. And after being surrounded by them since birth he has learned tricks of noticing their presence. If at all possible he will do his best to avoid them and get as far away as he possibly can. He had no idea of their presence in Alculard when he first came to the school, but rather than dropping out and applying elsewhere he’s doing his best to make it work here since this was the place his adoptive parents wished for him to attend.History From the moment he was conceived Yukio was a bargaining chip. A payment; a way for his parents to make good on their past unpaid debts. Kazuo and Airi Miura were certainly not model citizens. Kazuo was a ruined doctor, forever barred from practicing medicine for illegally prescribing powerful drugs to those who certainly didn’t need them. Airi was no better, completely addicted and dependant a variety of drugs she relied on her husband to pay for all her needs and get her daily fixes for her. But when Kazuo lost his degree their lives descended down a treacherous slope to hell. Airi fell deeper into her addictions, and would do anything to gain that elusive high, and Kazuo eager to regain his fortune from before did anything he could to get back all the riches he once had. Their deadly sins eventually led them to Akakios. Under the guise of a loan shark he came to the Miura’s offering them wealth and drugs, a deal almost too good to be true. A deal they simply could not refuse.
“I can make your wildest dreams come true, accept my offer and you’ll have all you ever wanted. But remember when the time comes, the debt must be paid…”
Despite the hidden cruelty and dark promise within those words the Miura’s accepted the offer. For awhile things went back to the way they were, the two were rich once again and had all the drugs and pills they wanted. But the money didn’t last forever and soon all the drugs had been taken leaving them right back where they had once been. And it wasn’t long till Akakios returned, this time, with entirely different intentions. He’d purposely waited till they’d lost everything he’d given them, putting them at his mercy. Akakios held up his end of the deal and now it was the Miura’s turn to hand over everything they had. But they had nothing to give. Nothing but their lives. Unless…
“Give me your first born child, and I’ll consider all your debts to be paid. Just one baby and you’ll keep your lives.”
The choice was obvious for them. Desperate to keep their own pitiful lives they stopped any and all forms of birth control, and their efforts were rewarded with a positive pregnancy test two months later. But their problems weren’t over yet, Airi would have to carry the baby for nine months, a miscarriage was simply not an option. Nor was a baby born with birth defects. Akakios made sure that Airi couldn’t get her hands on drugs of any kind, he already considered the unborn child his property and nothing that belonged to him could be damaged. Airi was a disaster, forced into detoxing she was a flurry of raging emotions all of which Kazuo got the brute of. There was no escaping for either of them; they were under constant watch even when they thought they were all alone. Eventually after nine agonizing months Airi finally went into labor and delivered a baby boy. She named him Yukio, for he had a head full of soft white hair that looked just like snow to her. No sooner had he been cleaned off and given a clean bill of health baby Yukio was ‘kidnapped’ from the hospital without a single trace. With their debt paid the Miura’s went back to their old lives, squandering what money they had for drugs, never once feeling remorseful for the baby they essentially handed over to the devil himself. Life for Yukio was easy at first, he was fed, changed, cleaned, given warm clothes and blankets all the basics a baby would need. But those were just physical things. He was never held, never consoled when he cried, never loved. He was always taken care by whatever whore Akakios decided would do the job that particular day or week. And the women were either too hooked on drugs to care or too afraid of angering Akakios to even try to get close to the helpless baby. Life continued like that through his first few years. He learned to walk on his own, learned to talk on his own, and learned that life was terribly cruel for one such as him. As soon as he was old enough to understand he was taught not to speak, and never to cry. Doing so got him in trouble and with trouble came punishment. Beatings, whippings, days without food anything to make him submit completely and totally to those in charge. But that was nothing compared to the horrors that awaited him once he turned five. He was taken to a different house, one with lots of other children most of them older than him but each one having the same vacant look in their eyes. They were all pretty children, bathed and scrubbed perfectly clean, dressed in lavish silks. None of them said a word to him, not a single hello or word of warning of what would happen to him here. Yukio was scrubbed just as clean as they were and dressed just as splendidly. After all his pampering was finished he was taken to a dark office. The only light in the room came from a single desk lamp that illuminated only half of a ghostly white face. The face of Akakios; the man he’d feared since he was little. He stared at Yukio with a cold hunger, eyes bright with nothing but malice and the promise of suffering to come. “Step forward boy, let me see you.” The words were hard as ice and just dangerous as a frozen dagger being driven into his skin. They were not to be disobeyed. So he stepped forward and averted his gaze in fear. “Good, very good. You’ve grown into a beautiful boy. You’ll surely earn me lots of money.” The words brought all sorts of horrors to the surface of Yukio’s mind. “But, there’s the matter of your name. I detest the name Yukio. From this moment on your name shall be…Nao.”The boy now known as Nao was then ushered out of the office and led to another room. This room was dark like the last one, and the air was heavy with the smell of cigarettes, cigars, alcohol and sweat. The only real light came from a spot light that shone on a large stage like stand. Nao was forced to stand on this stage and was told to stay still and not speak a single word or he’d regret it. Standing there under the bright light, completely blinded and unable to see all the people in the room, yet able to feel their eyes boring into his skin. Voices called out all sorts of things, things Nao didn’t understand. Later he would learn that the people were bidding on him, each one vying for the chance to take the boy’s virginity. The bidding went on for what seemed like forever, the bid kept crawling higher and higher as people fought for the right to take him into their bed. But then finally the dreaded moment came and the bidding was over as a sinister looking man mounted the stage to claim the prize he’d bought for the night. His eyes hungrily washed over Nao’s scantily clad body, sending frightful shivers down the boy’s back. Less than gently he was pulled from the crowded room and taken instead to a private room with a large bed as the only furniture. What happened that night has forever scarred Nao. That night he was completely broken, and rudely awakened to all the horrors in the world as he was brutally raped time and time again by a man whose name he would never know. His skin was torn, bitten, scratched and bruised, but that was nothing compared to the emotional suffering he went through. The entire time he was being abused he kept praying that someone would save him, take him away and erase all the pain. But no one came. His only savior was the early morning light that signaled the man’s time with him had ended. Nao was left bleeding and broken in the soiled sheets, his cheeks and eyes red and puffy from all the tears he’d shed through the night. Too sore to move he had to be carried out of the room by the workers in the whore house, and had to be hand bathed. His wounds were covered by a thick foul smelling salve, it burned at first, but when it was washed off he was astonished to find that all his wounds had healed, leaving only a slightly pinkish color on his skin to prove that they had ever even been there. The poor boy was given only two days and nights to recover. Not nearly long enough for Nao to get over the emotional trauma of being sexually brutalized. His next night with a customer was no better. The man was just as violent if not more than the first man had been. And this man was a vampire. One who delighted in biting Nao in the most sensitive of places, by the time morning came Nao had been almost completely drained. Like before he had to be carried from the bed and hand bathed. His wounds were dressed and treated with the cream that completely healed them, and he was also forced to drink a disgusting liquid that would force his body to create more blood at a much faster than natural rate. Again he was given two days and nights to recover before being offered up for bidding once again. Over and over this went on. He was raped again and again by vampires, shifters, weres, demons, faeries, and anyone else who could afford a night with him. When he was six years old he met his most violent customer yet. The man was huge, and held a cruelty in his eyes that rivaled anything Nao had ever seen before. His skin was the deepest black, his hair whiter than Nao’s own, and his eyes those terrible red orbs still haunt Nao to this day. The moment Nao saw him he instantly knew that the night would worse than all the others. And he was right. The man forced countless horrors upon the boy, shamed him, beat him, and degraded him to the words degree. But perhaps the most horrible thing was the snake like ropes the man conjured up that wrapped around his body burning and branding the flesh as it coiled around him like a python ready to squeeze the life right out of him. The cruel bondage was worse than anything Nao had ever gone through. When the morning finally came he was near death from blood loss. And the special cream could only do so much to heal his wounds. He was left with permanent red scars that wrap from his left leg all the way up to his left cheek. One would think that this blemish would lessen his value to customers, but it did no such thing. His slender body and innocent features were more than enough to make the lecherous men look past the scars. Each time he was offered up there was always a bidder willing to pay the price to fuck him for the night. Nao saw no hope in sight. He was in a never ending nightmare that ripped deep into his soul. With each horrible night that past he died more and more inside, becoming less a human and more a walking shell. The tiny flicker of hope he’d held on to as a child was dying. Till one fateful day when he was seven years old he met a new boy, Youji. Youji was different from the other boys in the whore house. He was kind, friendly, and utterly refused to give up the hope that he might one day be free of this torment. Nao was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. He clung tightly to the other boy, desperate for some form of love and comfort. And Youji gave it to him. He provided Nao with the friendship and care he’d never received before in his entire sad life. But this single comfort in Nao’s life was short lived. Just five months after meeting Youji, he was killed during a far too rough night with a were. The boys dying wasn’t uncommon, the customers who came here were often violent enough in bed to kill even the healthiest of children. But Youji’s death hit Nao harder than all the rest. His only companion dying was the final stroke that completely broke Nao’s soul. He completely detached himself from the outside world, and lived only in his mind. It was the only way his mind could save his sanity, to lock him away from the horrors of the world he lived in. Another year of hell passed for Nao. His seventh birthday came and went without any sort of recognition as it had always been. Here he was no one. He was an empty shell of a body that could be sold to the highest bidder for a single night of hell. Not a person. Not a child. He had become nothing at all. His body was bruised and beaten time and time again, only to be healed so the entire process could be repeated once again. It was a vicious never ending cycle. Then by another terrible twist of fate he crossed paths with another boy. A new boy, young and innocent, freshly brought into the house. Like all the others the boy was five when he first got there, but he looked so much younger, and most of all he looked like Youji. Nao may have locked himself away inside his mind, but one look at the boy who looked like his friend was enough to send him crashing back into reality. He did everything he could to get closer to this boy, and he learned that his name was Kai. Nao did his best to look out for Kai, comfort him when he needed it most, especially after Kai went through his first night in the whore house. The two boys formed a close bond, each one depending and clinging to the other for dear life. They needed each other. They needed some sort of relationship, some sort of comfort that was cruel or tainted by the darkness of the men around them. Life in the whore house wasn’t as bad as before. With someone he could confide in, and love, Nao found a reason to keep on living. He had to live on to take care of Kai, because if he didn’t then no one else would. All the other boys were too lost to worry about anything outside of their own demons. The relationship had started out of selfishness; Nao just wanting to be close to Kai because of his resemblance to Youji. But after awhile the relationship changed, Nao generally began to care of Kai. It was the first time he’d ever loved. But it wasn’t a sexual love. It was a pure one, one that he held onto for all he was worth. Kai was the last thing he had left in this world. And Nao refused to let him go. For two years he held onto Kai, and they survived life in the whore house together. But true to the previous events in his life, things took a dark turn for poor Nao. One night Kai simply disappeared. He was gone without a trace. The whore house went into a rampage as everyone scrambled to find what had happened to this seven year old boy. Not a single clue could be found though. The boy was simply gone, as if he’d disappeared into thin air. His loss hit Nao harder than anything else in his life. Losing Kai sent Nao spiraling back into that dark place in his mind. The place where he could lock himself away and not feel the pain his body was put in. Deep down he hopes that maybe Kai escaped, that by some chance he managed to get away. It’s the only thought that Nao could comfort himself with. Anything other than that is simply too painful to imagine, and he can’t handle any more pain in his life. The next five years passed as a blur for Nao. He was raped, degraded, beaten, and abused beyond belief. But he was numb to it all. He’d become like the other boys, hollow shells with no soul. But things would change once again for Nao. A regular customer of his took a strong liking to Nao, and soon began to believe that he was in love with the boy. His feelings were so strong that he risked everything and kidnapped Nao one fateful night. The man paid for his night with Nao as usual, but instead of taking him to the bedroom, he managed to spirit him away through one of the side exists. In the dead of night he ran with Nao held tightly in his arms. No one noticed till morning. And when morning came all hell broke loose. Akakios was furious, and sent out a murderous search party to bring back his stolen property. They came across Nao and the man the next night. In a fit of rage the man tossed Nao aside, and the boy soared through the air like a rag doll before falling and hitting his head on a large rock. The impact was hard enough to knock him out and create a deep gash in his head. Deep enough that after the search party killed the man they assumed Nao to be dead and left his body there to rot. But he wasn’t dead. Hours after everyone had gone Nao came too, and fueled by a sudden will to live he crawled his way through the thick brush up to a road. He made it to the edge before his burst of strength left him and he passed out once again. What could have been minutes or hours later he found himself waking to the sound of voices. The voice of a man and woman, they sounded worried. He tried desperately to open his eyes, but his body couldn’t seem to remember how to do that. But he refused to give up. He forced himself to move, and was rewarded when his hand managed to inch forward on the rough gravel. The action gained him a startled gasp before the world went dark for him once again. Nao woke up days later lying in an unfamiliar bed surrounded by unfamiliar people. The man and the woman from before were there, as well as a boy who looked to be his own age, or maybe a little older, and a girl was there too, she looked younger than the boy. The man introduced himself and his wife and son as the Kiyomizu’s a family. The family that had found him on the side of the road, abandoned like trash. They asked him his name, and for the first time in years Nao said, Yukio. The Kiyomizu’s nursed Yukio back to health with gentle care for weeks. They tried to ask him about his past, but after refusing to speak about it the family kindly let the subject drop. Weeks soon turned into months, and as the time passed the family made the decision to adopt Yukio and welcome into their family. For the first time in his life Yukio felt safe. These people loved him and expected nothing in return. It was unlike anything he’d ever felt before. No more pain, no more suffering. He could start anew, as Yukio, the person he was always meant to be. More months went by, and a new turn occurred in Yukio’s life. School. School had been a minor thing in his life before. He’d only learned what he’d managed to teach himself. But he wasn’t about to be frightened or scared by the idea. With his new found life he dedicated himself to studying and making up for all the things he’d missed out on learning as a child. His dedication allowed him to speed through the basic things and soon he found himself longing for more challenging things. Things he thought he could get at a school known as Alculard. It wasn’t the first time the family had heard of the school, they’d already considered sending their first child there and when Yukio broached the subject with them they were more than willing to make the arrangements to send him to the school. Fast forward a year to the present and now Yukio has almost finished his first year at Alculard. He’s learned a lot during his time at the school, but still craves more. More knowledge of the world he’d missed out on for so long.
