Character Personality
Akira is very passionate about teaching, and is willing to help the students in any way he can. Calm, collected and open to new ideas, Akira is very easy going and patient. There is very little that can actually offend him, or make him angry or uncomfortable. He will almost always have a smile on his face, believing that a positive environment is the best way to learn, and if there is something he can do to make someone feel better, he will do it. He is protective of his students and will do almost anything for them. Aikira has a very dominate personality and has a dark side that borders on sadistic when he is in the mood. He is not afraid to be openly dirty with both his students as well as his fellow employees, and will often joke with his students during class, especially when he’s teaching Biology.

Hobbies: Reading, writing, and listening to music.
Likes: The color green, making others laugh, interacting with his students, sweets, being proven wrong, having long talks / debates with his friends

Character Background
Akira was born into a long line of scientists. Both his parents were renowned Chemists who worked for the government, attempting to not only make advancements in medicine but weapons as well. He lived with his parents in a small house on the outskirts of Siena, Italy, but because of their hectic work schedules, he only really saw them in the mornings and evenings. But he didn’t mind too much, since his father’s relatives were within walking distance and Akira was able to play with his cousins on a daily basis. His favorite place to go was his Aunt’s house (his Father’s sister). His Aunt Khiara had two sons, one older and one younger then Akira to whom he viewed more like brothers than actual cousins. Being in the same elementary school as them, Akira often rode home on the bus with Raphael and Vincent and stayed with them until his parents got home.

But the year of his 10th birthday changed everything. On May 12th, Akira had stayed after class to help his teacher clean up the in class experiment that they had, and ended up missing the bus. His teacher called his parents, but his Aunt Khiara came to pick him up instead. Once they got back to her house, she turned on the news as per usual, but what was flashing across the screen completely shattered the bubble of happiness and safety that had protected him from the real world.

Police reports has claimed that it was an experiment that had gone wrong, gas fumes had ignited with a Bunsen burner, causing the explosion that had blown out the west wing of the facility that his parents had been working at. Most of the building was still in tact, but the west wing was in ruins. The rescue workers searched every inch of the ruble, but the bodies of his parents were never found.

Then there was a time of chaos as the relatives fought over who was best suited for Akira to live with. In the mean time, he lived over at his Aunt Khiara’s house seeing she was the closest, and the most familiar to him, but that didn’t last long before his grandparents took him away from the chaos and brought him to Japan. It was later that Akira’s family had only wanted him for the money that his parent’s death had brought him. He had decided to give it all to his grandparents, believing that they were the only ones who had truly deserved it. He continued his way through high school and college, following in his parents footsteps; graduating with a doctorate in Chemistry at the age of 23 and landing a job at a major corporation within the same year. Because of the long hours and demanding and stressful environment in which he worked, Akira felt that although he loved science, this was not what he had been called to do. At age 25, right after he had quit the corporation, he received the letter asking to teach at Alculard Paradise Academy, and has thus been teaching at the school for the past two years.

Career/Past Careers: Was a licensed Chemist, before becoming a teacher.
