Background:

5 Years Old
Having grown up in Russia, Nelo obviously only knew that language. His mother was born in Japan and his father was born in France. He’d had a good childhood, except from the part that everyone ignored him except his parents. Everyone thought he was weird because he acted like he was. “eh, what a weird guy.” All his class used to say.

8 Years Old
This is when he was marked as a vampire. A crescent moon was placed upon his forehead, that’s when everyone knew why he was a freak and weird. Anyone who was marked with this moon on their forehead was known as a soon to be vampire. The 8 year old Nelo locked himself up in his room for at least 6 months. He wouldn’t come out to talk to anyone and his maids or mother in his house always dropped off breakfast, lunch and dinner outside his bedroom door for him to eat. They would later come and pick the empty dishes outside his door again for him to be washed. On his 9th Birthday, that is when he finally came out of his room for the first time in 6 months.

10 Years Old
He now detested the light outside. It wasn’t because he was now a vampire, but because he was so used to the dark from when he locked himself in his room that he was pretty much allergic to the light. He sometimes went outside for short walks to try and get used to the light again. It usually didn’t work, but he grew more accustomed to it as time went by.

50 Years Old
He didn’t look any different from when he was 20 or 30 or 40. Everyone knew he was a vampire, he was open about it. He now moved around to different places getting different jobs. This was probably what he was going to do for the rest of his life. He still looks like a teenager because that’s when he stopped growing and changing.

500 Years Old
Life is still the same for him. He goes around making money to live, though he never drinks any human blood. He doesn’t believe that vampires need to live off humans. He goes into the wilderness and finds any animals that he can and drinks from them.

921 Years Old
He now wants to go to school. He’s made quite a bit of money from his own companies and he’s learnt many different languages from travelling over the world. He decides to go to a laid-back type of school, so chooses Alculard, and that’s where he has ended up right now.
