Character Personality

Before Danils twin Levathian died at the age of 16, Danil used to be a fairly happy child who did every thing with his brother. They enjoyed being together creating simple little spells that used to please their mother and father.

But the six years imprisoned bonded him closer to Levathian, which it hurt him so much when Levathian died.

After he found himself in China, Danil's personality went off the rails. He became sullen and distant and unwilling to talk to any one. But as he remembered about the ressurrection spell he became a little more willing to talk with people, realising that some one out there must know some thing or would be willing to help him out.

When he thinks about Levathian too much he becomes snappy and irritated with others who try and make him happy or interrupt him and his thoughts.
Because of these mood swings people tend to come to the conclusion that Danil is self absorbed (which he is becoming).
This tends to lead to an arrogent manner when he is irritated. Because only one or two people know about Levathian, but he really just wants to be left alone with his thoughts and memories.

Character Background

Danil and Levathian were born into a family of magi, who were all direct decendants of the first Ancient Persian Magi, which went down through the male blood line. They were born and grew up in Iran, till the age of 6 when their father heard about a spell that would bring people from the dead. The family packed and followed lead after lead story after story.

A few years of this and their mother became sick, their father tried his hardest to make her better but she was dying and because he had yet to find the fabled spell, he had no choice but to let her slip through his fingers and die.

The twins understood what had happened and didnt blame their father, for they too now at the age of 10 were very developed mages.
The three of them wandered across Europe and Asia for many years, they learnt many things and their father taught them every thing he knew. But he was still very heart broken from the loss of his wife.

As the years developed Mages skills and the knowledge about them became scarce, but there were a few organisations and people who knew about them and what they could do.

One year, whilst travelling in Tibet, they stopped at a small local inn to stay the night. Their father since the loss had trouble sleeping, so he went on his usual walk. only this time he never made it back.
His body was found the next morning hacked to pieces under a tree, on the mans chest some one had branded him with a smybol. The locals became frightened by this and made the twins leave the village at once.

This is when the twins knew that some one was following them. Some one who hated them. But the thing that scared them the most that, their father had the powers to defend himself against attackers, but what they didnt know was that after their mother had passed away, their father had wished his life away ever since.

Fleeing Tibet, the twins made it to Iran and to the Council of Magi, where they were kept under protection for a year.
After coming out of protection the twins then traveled down to Egypt, this is when they were captured.

They spent weeks in a small wooden crate that was surrounded on all sides by iron circles. When the crate was finally opened they were shackled up and taken to a large house. It was then they were told that they had been brought and sold to a wealthy man who lived in America.

This man was a scientist of the Nazi era, who believed that he could create super humans that would make a super army. He had come across that people that practiced as Magi actually existed in a rare book.

It was then the 6 years of horror started for the twins. Blood was taken, they were made to perform gruesome spells on animals and then on ohter humans who had also been captured. Over time the man said he thought of the twins as his own sons, even though the twins despised him deeply.
He gave them a fairly nice room and things to eat but every thing was very restricted, they were shackled together in irons during the night and then taken down to the basements and had experiments performed on them.

After 6 years Levathian started to weaken, his body was getting sick and every thing was taking its toll. Danil tried to help him get better but it was the same thing that his mother and father went through.
One night as Levathian was rather weak, some guards came to their room and took him away.

The next day, Danil was taken down again to the basement where he saw his brother lying on a steel table being prepped for an autopsy. This sent Danil wild, he hurt three of the guards and grabbed Levathian's body and tried to escape. But more guards came, took the body away.

A few hours later Danil found himself locked in the twins bedroom with some food sitting on a table. After exerting so much energy, Danil had to eat. But this food, unbeknownst to him was laced with sleeping drugs.

A few minutes later he had passed out. Upon waking up he found himself back in a crate and on a boat.
After what seemed like two weeks, the boat reached shore. He ws then let out. Looking around he realised he was in another foreign country, this time it was China.

Having skirted around the edge of China, Danil remembered that the Council of Mages had an office in China. He seeked them out and eventually found them. They reviewed him and came to the decision that he needed to be taught to be human or as human as he could be.

It was then he was enrolled at Alculard Academy as he would never fit in with any normal humans. But Danil has never forgotten about one thing from his childhood, the obsession that his father had over the ressurrection spell. Danil, from wanting his brother back became just as obsessed.
