Character Personality
Erebes wants to inform the world of his true life. Of his powers as a God. He wants to show that even the gods have issues amongst themselves. His hate for Hades and his Love for his Mother Nyx are two common factors to why he wishes to teach. Because of the peace bond set between them all, no war is to take place. For it takes a lot to kill a God. To gain one's trust, more must be shown. Erebes can be a very trusting person, but if he finds anything about a person he dislikes, his respect or trust for them immediately falls down the drain. He can sometimes be descended as a dark person, only because he teachers his class in a very dimmed light. And his Apartment is full of darkness. He is the God of Shadows and being a in a shadowy environment allows for him to feel more comfortable.

On the task of his emotions, he tends to show only a few at a time. One being a Happy side, which consists of smiles. Though he rarely laughs due to the serious side of him. This doesn't mean that he is a rude person, or that because he's a God he believes he's superior to other beings, he finds everyone as his equal and treats them on that level. He doesn't tolerate students that like to joke around in his class and will forcefully remove them from his class. Learning is something he strongly supports and anyone that stands in his way will be 'spelled' away. He won't truly resort to place spells on others, but if it calls for it, he will. A small spell to make a student pay attention in class won't hurt at all. Not him at least.

When teaching Spells, he first allows the students to get a feel of the classroom before they are allowed to even look at texts. He will not let any students try a spell on their own. Casting a 'forgetting' spell on their mind to bind the triggering for their spell casting until he thinks they are ready to use it. Some students hate it, and some love It for their very own safety.

Character Background
Black winged Nyx, some say, laid a germless egg in the infinite bosom of Erebus, the Darkness of the Underworld, and after long ages, sprang golden-winged Eros. But others have said that Nyx is the daughter of Eros, whereas others called both of them children of Chaos. Nyx is Night, a powerful goddess whose dark light falls from the stars, and who dictates not only to men but also to gods. Even Zeus does not wish to upset Night: It happened that Hera bribed Hypnos in order to make Zeus fall asleep, so that she could have it her way during the Trojan War. Hypnos obeyed the goddess in spite of his fears; for once he had performed a similar task, and when Zeus woke up in anger, he sought him everywhere, and would have hurled him from heaven into the deep, had Nyx not saved him. For Zeus stopped and thought twice before doing anything that could displease Nyx. Some seem to think that Nyx appears because light is gone as if anything could be and yet do not exist on its own right.

Erebes was cursed at birth. The evil God Hades felt wrath toward Nyx and Erebus and placed a spell to switch the soul of their son with Another. Sending the true soul far away. Placed into the body of a young ill Japanese infant. Thinking the child and soul would both die to this illness, Hades felt pride in getting ride of the source that could threaten his stability. All the while, Erebus and Nyx were both dumbfounded when their son, the impostor, was none other than a false demon placed within their grasp, a trickery from Hades, whom they soon scorned.

Saito was the name of the young ill infant, and the family of the child was sure it would die from the illness. But the power that was born within Erebes healed the host body. The family was joyous for their first born son, and heir to their dynasty was born. They were a average class, but highly respected family for their distributions to the world as shinobi. Hailing from the family line of Koga Clan. Saito was destined to become the next Clan leader, but a betrayal happened in the family. A jealous uncle wanted Saito out of the way, so that his son could become leader of the Clan. And when Saito turned for his 5th birthday, his plan took into action. He hired men from the rival Clan to come and kidnap and execute Saito. But it backfired. The men hired came with more than needed, and raided the Clan Manor, killing nearly everyone. Including the Saito's father, the original clan leader. Pushing the position of leader onto his young shoulders.

Things only seemed to get worse as other Clans took this opportunity to continuously attack what was left of the Koga Clan. Going into their fellow Clan of Iga, Saito's powers of leadership were stripped due to age, and they were thus labeled as Iga-Koga members. On any mission in which a Iga-Koga was allowed to take part in, they were always the bait. Always to go into the fight first. But this did not kill the spirits of the Koga, or their leader Saito. When he reached the fine age of 12, when his training was fully complete, he was allowed to take part in battle like the rest of the children. Anxiously awaiting his 16th year of life so that he could take his clan like he had inherited.

With fire in his eyes, Saito returned from his first mission. Only to have all the work he'd done credited to the Iga member who lead the mission. His hate began to grow from Iga, and he secretly began taking some to his rebellious acts. He felt as though his pride was stabbed through the heart with the decisions made by the Iga Clan leaders. And he put up a challenge to gain back his power and pride. He was allowed to challenge one of the Iga Clan leaders to a fight to the death. If Saito was able to kill the leader, he would gain custody over the Koga Clan once more.

Saito's mother begged him not to go through with the fight, but Saito dismissed her. She knew that he was like his father, and fighting ran through his blood. There was no way for her to stop her son from taking part in this particular fight. She sent a prayer to the Gods to look after her soon as he approached his opponent, weapon ready. Saito was the first to make a move, thrusting his sword forward for it to pierce the man, but the man whom was his opponent, was bigger, faster and far more experienced in the area of fighting. With the fight lasting for no longer than half a hour, Saito was forced to the ground with a sword stabbed through his chest. Declaring that the mach was over, Saito's mother rushed to his side to hold her son. Knowing that he was going to die like her husband.

Saito's eyes opened to look at his mother, but it wasn't her. It was a woman kneeling down to him. Beside the woman stood a man. Their features were both different from his, their eyes, mouths, hair and skin tone were all different from his own. These strangers were watching him. But everyone else had disappeared, and suddenly he didn't know where he was. At first he was afraid to be near them, but when he felt no fear inside him, he acknowledged them. Without even a word he started to know who they were, Nyx and Erebus. With a grace from Nyx's hand, everything that happened from his true birth till this day played in his mind. The truth of his identity and what he was. The reason to why he lived through a illness that should have killed any man. The proposed he return with them, but instead, he wanted to go back to his 'mother'. He felt her loneliness as she wept over the body of his death. Nyx and Erebus didn't need to discuss their son's decision, for they knew the pain of the loss for a child.

Saito returned to his body and lived through the attack. But because of his challenge, he and his mother, along with others were exiled from the Iga clan. But his mother was just happy for him being alive. They traveled from village to village, doing odd jobs for any money or food they could obtain. Life stayed peaceful for a long while until Saito reached the age of 21, and the Heji war broke out in Japan. Feeling as though it was his duty, he took part in the war. For fighting, he was gifted with Wings, and his true God powers were triggered and awakened. He was Erebes, God of Shadows and he lead the war to it's victory. Because he waited so long to join his mother and father with the other Gods, he wasn't allowed access into their realm. He wasn't too heartbroken, for they would visit him in his dreams, as he could do to them in their slumber. Living his as a human with the immortal body of a young warrior. Holding the powers of the Gods.

He soon dropped the name Saito and took to his true name as Erebes. Traveling the world to learn and to teach. Carrying the crest of his mother and father, with the word 'OniKage' tatted under it. Oni meaning Demon while Kage meaning shadow. Giving reference to Shadow God. His wings come and go at his will. And he can fly high in the sky, though he prefers to fly at night.

While trying to visit his parents during a emergency, he over stepped the boundaries in which he could travel and was thus attacked by Cerebus.

The beast viciously ripped away his wings, and left him to die. But he survived. He was a strong warrior from birth, and his powers over shadows protected his life. He was sent back into the land of the human and began traveling once more. Coming across a female vampire who declared she was going to teach the world of her Kind, and he vowed to do the same. Eventually he followed the woman to a school in the making, but he was called away from it.

Now soon returning to the school, Erebes is a teacher over Greek Mythology, and the spells of Greek Magic to students of the Night Classes.
