Appearance
Hair: Kaine’s hair is soft and silky, but messy all the time – It hasn’t seen a hairbrush in ages, as Kaine simply washes it and lets it live it’s own life afterwards. It’s lenght and style varies from short to shoulder-lenght (Kaine keeps his hair in a ponytail when it reach his shoulders). It’s so fair that it seems almost silver.
Eyes: Kaine’s eyes are dull green. They seem hazy all the time and rarely glimmer, besides the time when he’s really excited over something.
Height: Average, about 172 cm (5'8")
Build/ Weight/Body Structure/Physical Faults: Kaine’s figure is rather slender and gracile. He has fairly pale skin and almost no muscles, so he’s as light as a feather (he weights only about 60 kg) - he often forgets to eat due to his study zeal. His arms and legs are pretty long compared to the rest of his body – he reminds some people of a newborn foal.



Character Personality
Kaine is considered a pain in the ass by many. He’s pretty much straight-forward and always speaks his mind, regardless on tact or manners. He hates chit-chat and gossip, so he’ll either tell you something rude or will simply walk away without saying a single word. It’s pretty hard to catch his attention, as he’s always focused on his studies or something else that matters to him at the certain moment. But he’s not a particulary amusing person, so it doesn’t matter anyway.
Most of the time he’s annoyed by every little thing and isn’t afraid to show off his annoyance.
Many people might think of Kaine as a slacker, because he often skips classes – but his grades are great, he simply thinks that the teachers are boring and unnecessary until they succeed in catching his attention. His attitude can be described as “Oh gosh, give me the the textbooks and/or other materials, I can learn it by myself someplace quiet.”

Character Background
Kaine was raised in Wolfsberg, Austria. His Japanese mother, Aizawa Yuyu, married a wealthy austrian man while she was on her studies abroad. They stayed together until Kaine was almost 6 years old. His father fell in love with another woman and Yuyu had to move back to Japan to live with her parents, as she had no money, work or good education.

Kaine had no friends and couldn’t speak the language well, so he became a loner, focused only on improving his school skills. He had some serious social problems, as he didn’t excel in sports and had no clue about current japanese popculture.

Fortunately his social life slowly improved when Kaine got older and he also became fascinated (almost obsessed) with supernaturals. He’s an expert when it comes to chemistry and biology, and loves to apply it on everything that comes around. Kaine’s great in science, but he sucks at real life and relationships in particular.
He applied for Alculard to broaden his knowledge about supernaturals and their connection with exact sciences. His life has been quite calm and stereotypical.

Likes: Books, pasta, being awake until midnight (at least!), detective and horror stories, milk and desserts.
Loves: Cigarettes (Of course he doesn’t smoke at the campus. Well, but as long as nobody’s looking…), sweets (lollipops and chewing gums), dogs, winter and autumn, sleeping till noon
Dislikes: Dancing, fruits and vegetables, cats, birds, video games, waking early, romantic movies, supernatural beings (unless they are in his research. Then they’re ok.), crying people (he never knows how to comfort them!), nightclubbing, fast food

Strengths: High IQ, is a fast leader. Draws wonderfully, especially with aquarelles.
