Computer Games [Ended]

Waking up that morning, Damien wasn't really excited about what day it was. There were a few days of the year he hated. The day his grandfather passed, Christmas, Valentines Day, and most of All, he hated his birthday. Which was today. Nothing good ever came from his birthday, he did his best to 'hide' the day he was born, but it got leaked out into the school his second year there. Ever since, a few girls would buy him a gift, a card, and sometimes confess their love to him.

He sat up in his bed, running hands through his messy silver hair. His blues eye's searched around his room as he stood. Grabbing his uniform from his dresser. He turned on the tv to listen to the school's morning show as usual as he got ready for school. One of the announcers was a girl that liked to follow him around, how he hated her.

"And before we leave you today, we'd like to wish Damien Yamimaru a Happy 18th Birthday!" the girl screamed as the show cut off the air.

He froze in place, glaring at nothing but air before him. Damn that girl, why'd she have to do that. Now he had to go through a day of 'Happy Birthday Damien'. He sighed as he grabbed his bag of books, and his glasses, pulling them onto his face. Walking out the door he walked towards his computer class.

Luckily for him no one bothered him, maybe the annoyed expression on his face gave away he didn't want to be talked to for the day. Or maybe they didn't care, above all he didn't care. So long as they didn't bother him. His favorite classes here his Computer Classes, and his Writing Classes, always excelling with high grades in both.

He sat in his seat, Logging into his computer. It was a free day, mostly because the teacher was stuck grading papers. Damien pulled up a game onto his computer, signing into his messenger and began playing.

The light tapping of the keys were the only sounds in the room as brown eyes studied the screen before her. She was always the first one here. It gave her time to actually have some piece and quiet before all the other annoying students came in for the day. Students who were only taking this class because they believed it to be easy. A small tugged at her lips as her fingers continued to dance over the keys. Were they ever wrong. It wasn’t as if this was a hard class, it just required a lot of outside work. Leia honestly didn’t see how most of the younger girls who took the class could complain about it. The projects, Like the one she was working on now, were really rather simple. Her head shot up as the door slid open and closed quietly, her smirk widening as she noticed a certain silver haired boy sit down at his computer.

“Good Morning, Damien.” She called out as she saved her progress and made her way over to his computer. Even if he was a little on the serious side, she still liked him. They had practically gown up together, being two of the few students who had been at the school longer then five years. Without waiting for a reply, she gently set a small bag next to his keyboard, a little light blue ribbon holding the little bag closed.

“Happy 18th birthday. You are now officially legal…” Her tone was soft, but the smirk on her face matched the gleam in her eyes as she watched the boy in front of her.

He was still paying attention to the game. Doing good in it so far. When the small bag with the light blue ribbon was placed on his keyboard, it broke his attention to the game, glancing over to the older student. He knew her quite well, one of the only student’s he’d known his whole stay there besides Suki. He didn’t really try to associate with many people, but he always welcomed those older than him.

His hand moved up to grab the small bag, pulling the little blue ribbon from it. The bag falling open, he could smell the chocolate before he smelled it. “Chocolate?” His fingers moved to grab a piece of the candy, pulling it to his lips he slipped it into his mouth. It’d been a while since he’d had some Chocolate. He chewed it for a bit before it melted, the after taste still.

“Thanks..” He said, wrapping the ribbon back around the bag, tying it neatly. “Yea, I’m legal now. Let’s hit the bars and grab some smokes.” He said in a sarcastic tone. Fixing his glasses. “Age is just a number that the government put’s rules too.” He said, looking back to his game.

Leia chuckled slightly at his sarcastic tone. Damien had always been the serious one. It counteracted her outgoing nature, which is probably why the two had remained friends for so long. Leaning down slightly so she could look over his shoulder, Leia watched him play his game for a moment.

“True. But even so, you still deserve to have some sort of fun on your birthday…” She murmured, a smirk still playing with her lips. She knew that he hated making a big thing of his birthday, thus is why she had given him his present before the general girl population showered him with unwanted affection. She had once thought it funny to watch until she realized how much he hated it. Since then, she had taken up the role of ‘crowd control’ so to speak. Grabbing a chair, she pulled it up next to his, and continued to watch him, not yet wanting to get back to work.

His attention stayed on the game, tapping away. His right hand controlling the mouse while his left pressed keys on the board. His eye's averted over his shoulder at Leia. She was one of the only girls he got along with willingly at the school besides teachers.

A sudden sound was made from the game, he lost. He lightly glared at the computer. He hated the game. Hated it because he could never beat it no matter how many times he played it. He clicked off the game and looked down, the bag of chocolate still there. He wanted to save some of it for later, so he stuck it in his bag.

His hand felt the coolness of his camera as he was putting up the treat. He smiled, grabbing the camera, turning to Leia he took a picture. Giving her a smirk. "The only fun i'm having today is finishing my history report for Ebisawa-Sensei."

Kana strutted into the classroom late as usual. He smiled briefly to a random friend or was it someone he slept with. Kana laughed quietly to himself. He confused these things all the time. Not that it mattered at all. He smiled as he walked to his a computer and slid into the chair. He noticed he was only a few seats down from Damien. He remembered it was his birthday due to some random fangirl screaming happy birthday on the school's morning show. It annoyed him to no end. He smirked and looked at Damien. "Happy birthday Damien." He said with a slight smirk. He sat turned back to his computer. He got on the internet and started surfing random things. He checked his email and looked to see how the weather was in Chicago for the fun of it.

Leia’s gaze shifted from the computer screen to the dark haired boy who entered the classroom. She didn’t know the younger boy very well, but she knew his face well enough to recognize him, should she ever meet him outside of class.

“Good Morning.” She called to him, before switching her gaze back to the computer screen only to see Damien lose the game. A small frown tugged at her lips. She knew how much Damien hated to lose, even if it were a game. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him pull out his camera and she managed a smile just in time for the flash to go off. She had learned to always be prepared with Damien. It couldn’t hurt, either way.

“Eh…I’m sure you can put it off for one say, Damien-kun.”

Damien winced a bit when Kana told him happy birthday. "Thank you." He said back in a more annoyed tone. He hated his birthday being acknowledged, more than he hated people who did things for shady attention. He pulled the camera to display to view the picture of the girl. "You smiled." He said a bit disappointingly.

"Oh. Would you be a model? I need to take some pictures for photography." He didn't know who to ask exactly, but he didn't want to get stuck with some annoying girl.

Kana stared at the computer screen or more stared through it. He was incredibly bored by now and just wanted to leave and do something even though he just got here. He didn't like staying in one place for very long. Kana got on some random online gaming site and scrolled through them to find one that would actually seem fun to him. He ended up clicking on some random one and played it. He lost with in 1 minute do to the fact it didn't keep his attention long enough. He exited out of the window and just stared at the backround. He was always bored in this class and some times even skipped if he was to lazy to go. He pulled up Word and began to type some random short story that ended up in two guys going at it. He chuckled at how it had ended. He erased it all and typed up another one quickly. Ideas came to him quickly and he had no problem writing many in a very short time period. His finger flew across the keyboard as he soon became wrapped up in his many stories.

“O, was I not supposed to?” Leia asked, her head tilting slightly so that she could see the picture on the small screen and winced slightly. She looked really childish, smiling like that. Chocolate eyes glanced back at the boy next to her as he asked her if she wanted to be a model, and despite everything she couldn’t keep the smile from flashing across her face.

“Of course!” She always loved Damien pictures. To actually be able to model for the younger man was a great honor. “I would love to, Damien-kun!!” Chuckling out of pure happiness, she gave Damien a light hug in thanks.

“No, you were suppose to have a unexpected goofy expression on your face when I snapped it.” He said with a sigh. “Sadly this won’t make my bulletin board.” He replied. In a drew stacked in his closet is a binder he keeps pictures in. He’d pull out his camera at any moment and snap a picture, sometimes he’d laugh over the expression’s he’d got accidentally.

“Just tell me a day your free and we can have a photo shoot.” Most of the time he took pictures of strangers, but he also liked taking pictures of those he knew. Because there in those images, captures the most generous time of one’s life. The picture holds them forever frozen in time to be gazed at over and over to the holder delight.

His eye’s shifted over to the boy who spoke to him earlier, watching him type away at the computer. Damien loved to write, his passion and dream was to become a Novelist. He loved writing above all things, even more than taking pictures. He loved his writing class.

Kana's eyes read what he wrote before deleting the entire thing. He stared at the blank screen and wondered what he should write next. He rubbed his eyes tiredly. He had woke up in someone else's bed this morning and he had not got that much sleep before. He realised he was starting to wake up in familiar beds now so he must be sleeping with people he had slept with before. This made Kana chuckle softly. He smirked as he began to write some random erotica. He sighed as the strory began to get longer and longer. He usually just wrote short stories or poems. He loved to do it anyway. It was his passion and he could write for hours on end. He eyes flew across the screen as he read the story before continuing the his typing.

“O right…” Leia chuckled slightly, leaning on the desk slightly, head in hands. Damien was fond of taking what Leia liked to call the “true pictures” of people. The pictures were mostly of people who didn’t know they were getting their picture taken; therefore Damien was able to capture them as their true selves. It was one of the reasons, Leia believed, that his pictures were so beautiful.

“I have nothing to do tomorrow, besides to set up the computer/projector system in Akira-sensei’s class, but I will be done by lunch time.” Normally, she would have had her Chemistry class tomorrow, but Akira-sensei had decided to give them an extra day to study for the test, instead of teaching, the classroom would be open for the normal length of time purely as a study hall and because of this, attendance wasn’t required. Seeing as Leia was already prepared for the test, she didn’t have a need to attend, leaving her completely free. “What time is good for you, Damien-kun?”

“Tomorrow, after or during lunch is fine with me.” He replied. He put the camera down in front of him. Pushing over the menu button to show the pictures of people he’d already taken. He smirked at the picture of Koichi eating a sandwich sloppily. Yes, that was going in the year book, no matter how much the teacher despised the picture.

He glanced over to Kana. “Hey, you want to take pictures tomorrow too?” He asked. He was requested to do some photography for the yearbook, he couldn’t take pictures of Leia only, not that he minded doing so. He needed a few models of random students, day and night class.

Kana looked up in surprise at Damien. What had he asked? Oh right. Something about Kana's picture being taken. Kana smiled at the idea. He looked at his computer screen before remembering the idea. He would have to write it in his notebook.

He then turned back to Damien. "Sure. I would love to. What time?" He asked with a broad smile. He exited out of the window and turned to talk to Damien. Kana was still smiling in a friendly way. He stretched his arms feeling his muscles flex and then crack his fingers as quietly as possible before letting out a long yawn. He was still so tired from last night.

“After lunch is fine. You will have fewer interruptions from the students. Especially from the ones who missed your birthday today….” Leia chuckled slightly. Every year she felt bad for Damien, so the last few years she had taken up the role of ‘crowd control’ for Damien, when she could.

“And eating lunch will give us all the energy we need, so at least I don’t end up falling asleep again…” Leia grimaced at the thought. There was a point in time where she had skipped lunch, which only resulted in her falling asleep during her classes back in high school. She quickly learned that falling asleep in class was not tolerated after Tosen-san had called her to his office. Tosen-san was actually really nice, it were his other family members: Kousei-san and Ayane-san that were the creepy ones. Those were two people whose bad side she never wanted to see.

"Alright, i'll meet you two after lunch." He replied. "And if i don't show up, come to my room. I'll be hiding there working on a report." He stated with a sigh. As much as he hated school, he still did all of his school work. If not during class, or in the library, he was stuck in his room doing work. And when he wasn't doing work, he spent time with his creative writing teacher. He held a small attraction for the elder man, he didn't know why. And he was determined to get the same affection back.

He stood from his seat, looking at his watch. "I must get going. Need to head to the library to study for an exam." He stated. Obviously it was a lie to where he was going exactly, but they didn't need to know the aspects of his personal life. He reached down, grabbing his bag. Walking to the teacher he showed a pass that allowed him to leave class. With that, he gave the two a nodd and left the classroom.

Kana stared absent-mindly at his computer. He was bored and agitated. For what reason was beyond him.. He just felt angry. He figured it was the rumor going around saying he had gotten 15 girls pregnant. Although it could be true.. He wasn't sure.. It still pissed him off that people would make rumors about him. He had figured out who started it to. At least he was sure he knew who it was. The boy was going to die. He promised himself this. These kind of problems were helped solved with things he learned in his gang. He winced when he remember the punishment for leaving. That was not a pretty site. He couphed slightly before turning his head when someone walked in. He smirked a deadly smirk when he saw who it was. The ass who started the rumor. He hadn't seen him ealier. Maybe he went to the restroom. Or was just coming to class extra late. Kana felt intense anger and frustration boil up inside him.

Kana swiftly but quietly made his way to behind the other's seat. He took his head and banged the boy's head against the desk with enough force to break his nose.. Which he did probably. Kana kept bashing it into the desk until he was pulled away from the boy by the teacher. Kana saw blood running down the boy's face and smirked. He was damn proud. "HEADMASTER'S OFFICE NOW!" The teacher said while pulling him out of the room.
