Biology 101 [Ended]

Akira walked to the classroom to find it unsurprisingly empty. Sighing, he sat down at his desk, and pulled out the review sheet, as well as the stack of papers he had yet to grade. with set determination, he began to quickly grade his papers. He always allowed his students to do what they felt was best. There were only a few that he would suggest come to this session, but most of his students didn’t need the extra study time. Thus is why he had made it optional, open to those who wanted it. If they students didn’t study and they failed, then it was their fault. He loved his students, but he wouldn’t bend over backwards for them. They got what they earned, nothing more, and nothing less. He didn’t baby them, especially his college students because he knew that the real world wasn’t going to baby them. Why send them out into the world unprepared?

“Akira-sensei?” Golden eyes shot over to the door as one of the students popped in. someone actually showed up….now wasn’t that surprising.

“Yes, Kira-kun, what can I help you with?” The brunette glanced around before smiling at the teacher.

“Well, I was going to confirm that today was optional, but the empty classroom kind of confirms that for me….” He chuckled. Akira smirked and nodded towards the door.

“Go back to sleep, Kira-kun…” Kira nodded and then left. Sighing, Akira glanced at the clock. If no one else showed up by the time he was done grading, he was leaving.

Gods it has been forever since he has walked around these halls. Infact he forgot what wing this is! No matter he will have to relearn everything eventually. Instead of leaving his shoes up in the front he just took them off and carried them. Walking along the halls he can hear some classes in session but for the most part it is...quiet. "Why is it so quiet? It is usually bustling right about now? hmmm??" Alric looked into the Science room and saw a teacher by himself. No students? He was confused to oblivion. Why would a teacher be by himself. Alric walked in slowly and knocked. "Excuse me. But aren't teachers supposed to have students in their classes buy 8-9am? Why be in an empty classroom?" Alric asks confised at the teacher.

He was about half way through his papers when the door opened again, but the person walking in was not one that he had never seen before. The way in which he talked Akira could easily assume he wasn’t a student. It almost sounded like the man was older than he was. Which was probably the case if he was indeed part of the night.

“I merely give my students the information they need to learn. The method in which they study for their mid-term is entirely up to them. Today was a study hall day, open to whoever wished to use it.” He smiled at the man slightly as he turned in his chair to face him. Noting the shoes, his golden eyes narrowed in confusion. “Can I help you find something or someone?”

Alric scanned the room and still felt so out of place. He isn't used to the quietness of the alls let alone no one in the classrooms. He really doesn't want this to fall and then the merge be a failer that the world wants it to be. He was not prepared to allow this school to faulter. So hoping the teacher has some news of sorts he turned back to him and just smiled.

"So you allow students their own study time? Interesting." He said pndering the thought. Back in the day no such thing was allowed but times have changed and he so desparately needs to catch up with it. Coming to attention he bowed to the teacher. "I am sorry where are my manners. Admiral Alric Alculard of the Homeland Security Team. Pleasure to meet a Sensei devoting time to aide our students through success." He saluted the man and chuckled. It has been a very long time to be away from home but now that he is back he has so much to learn.

There was a lot of things that crossed through the young shape shifter’s mind as she walked across the schools campus mixing in with the day students. Like this, she could walk around like she did as a wolf during the day hours and no one would think anything different of her. Right now she was just like one of them, a humanoid. It sort of made Sooleawa giggle a bit at the though but the young woman kept a simple straight face as she made her way to were a teacher she knew well enough would be. Tricky like a fox she was going to have to be to make this working. Going to Ayane to ask for this thing would not work, the female Alculard would swoon over the fact Sooleawa had shifted into a full human form and so on.

Not getting Sooleawa closer to what she wanted.

Going to Kailyn-san?

Bad idea too.

She needed to use the cover of surprise, and in this case it would probably only work on one person. Sapphire eye s focused on the science building as she walked up to it. She stopped just outside the doors, taking a few deep breaths to calm the jump nerves in her that made it seem like this might not work. But it had to, if she focused enough and said exactly what she had been practicing over here then. By element of surprise, Sooleawa would be like a fox and trick her way into getting Zack and Ayzen together without any class or work. Pushing the doors open, Sooleawa took to the light traffic halls of the building making her way through it down to the end where Akira-san’s class room was. Zack as here during the day, she normally slept outside the door during class waiting for him to get out. But today, she would actually go in.

Just like any other ‘normal’ day student.

But as she pushed the door open slowly, sapphire eyes darting around to see what was here since she lacked her animal sense of smell to warn her of anything, Sooleawa was greeted by the sight of the dark haired shape shifter she had met this morning at the dojo. If she still had her ears, they would so be down on the side of her head, unhappy with this turn of events. Couldn’t understand why he was here, it was day time night people weren’t suppose to be walking around during the day…


Whatever…

She was on a mission.


Sapphire eyes turned to the man sitting behind the desk, at least he was where he was suppose to be. A smile crossed the young female’s face as she stepped into the room closing the door behind her. Remember, breathe, and think every hard before you speak! Was the thought running through her mind as she walked up to his desk, ignoring the other in the room.

“ Akira-sensei, can I have a day pass to go into town please?” Sooleawa stated in a simple matter, not falling over a thing as she spoke, sweet innocent like smile on her face.

“No need to be so formal, Alric-san.” He chuckled slightly as he turned to face him more fully. “And have the chance to meet yet another Alculard. This truly is a pleasure.” He nodded towards the man, the small smile alight on his face as his very slim stack of papers yet to be graded slipped from his mind. And to think that the Aculards were part of the Homeland Secrurity. But weren’t all the Homeland Security members shifters? If that was the case then this young one must be a shifter as well. He wanted to ask, but didn’t want to appear rude.

“I am Akira Fanelli. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Alric-san.” His smile widened as the door opened and a girl walked through the door, a small smile on her face as she closed the door behind her. Akira’s gaze narrowed as he watched her approach his desk, cirtain that he had never seen this girl before.

”Akira-sensei, can I have a day pass to go into town please?”

The strangest feeling that she was missing something swept over him as he tried to place her face with a name. He knew he had seen those eyes before….the blue orbs were much like Zack's…..His eyes widened as the answer hit him.

“……..Sool?” It was Sooleawa……and she was without her ears and tale…..and was speaking perfect Japanese. AND with first person. For a long moment he couldn’t respond to her simple question, he was too shocked that she managed the complete transformation. But a few minutes more passed as he blinked, his brain once again turning on.

“Um……..What exactly do you need a pass into town for? And if you think I’m allowing you to go alone, you are quite mistaken…”

Alric bowed as he felt out of place a bit with this teacher. "Sorry. My team and I are coming from a 10 year war and we are still on that high. So me being formal is kind of the normal and to be expected." He said as he straightened up and heard the door. Looking at a girl enter he was confused but the smell was so....familiar. His brain was trying to recognize it but nothing clicked for a while until Akira said something. Alric was as stunned as the teacher whose class she walked into.

"Soole??? It really is you huh?" This is intersting but it deosent seem like Soole without her animal feature which make her unique compared to the other shifters here on campus. Alric looked confused when she asked about at oass to get in to the city. They have to ask the staff for a pass? Maybe Ayane is busier more than ever so she can't seem to assist as often as she used to. Alric tured to face Akira again. He was going to leave and continue on with his Security runs but so far something about this going to town just didn't seem right to the wolf. So he decided to wait and see if he is going to be needed at all. If not then he will continue on with his day.

Sapphire colored eyes turned a bit to look at the dark haired shape shifter still standing by the door. Narrowing them slightly at the males comment, wondering herself if she should remind the other he had no room for some random jab at an insult about a Halfling being able to shift this far without of deformity. The young she wolf had heard enough of that over the last six years having coming to understand the speech of others, and their thoughts. After all, he had been the one to throwing a fit in the Dojo early this morning tearing the mats to pieces and then some. Making her sneak into the equipment shed and forcing him and his little ‘pack’ to find the very problem.

She also resisted the urge to snort at him, in the dominate female way she was very use to doing.

Sapphire eyes shifted back to the dark haired man sitting on the other side of the desk in front of her. This was far more important than putting the other male in some sort of place that her instinct was screaming at her to put him. A nice little smile cross over her face as Sooleawa let her eyes lighten up a bit, since she did not have wolf ears and a tail she had to use the human way of expression.

And be as tricky as a fox.

“ It is hard for me to learn about humanoids by just remaining on the school grounds. I thought perhaps..” Slight toothy smile, not to have didn’t want to give anything to be worried over away. Tricky, tricky, like a fox that tricks the chicken out of its eggs. “ It was time I went and saw a humanoid city for once. If it please Akira-sensei nerves better, Yismen-san and Muuren-san can be my escorts to make sure I do not get into any trouble”

Cute, sweet, innocent, naïve little smile on her face as held herself up right, but not too tall and over powering. That was not the impression she wanted to give away.

Golden orbs narrowed in confusion. It would make sense that she would want Ayzen and Zack to go with her, seeing as she was around the two all the time. But a day pass this late in the day was kind of useless.

“Sool, A day pass this late in the day would be pointless…you would have to return to the campus in…” He paused as he looked at his watch. It was just after 2 PM now. “A little less than two hours. Unless you’re planning on making your little outing short, then a Day pass wouldn’t be the best option.” Especially if she wanted Ayzen to go with her. It was still so weird hearing Sool use first person. And call Zack and Ayzen by their last names instead of the Zack-pup and Ayzen-pup names she usually dubbed them with… Watching the girl for a moment, Akira distantly wondered why she wanted the pass now, so close to exams and the break, but he didn’t bother to ask. Not this time anyway. Sool never asked for anything, or at least, never asked him for anything. And it was true that the only way she was going to learn about the humans was in a place where they were in abundance. And unaware of the fact that she was different. He was also curious as to see how long she could hold this form. Opening his desk, he took out three plastic cards and a permanent marker.

“Alright, Sool. Since it’s so late, I’ll just go ahead and give you a twelve hour pass off of campus for the three of you. That would be more beneficial to you.” He announced as he wrote one name per card. Turning to his computer, he opened the program he needed, and entered each individual card number, and setting the time window in which the card would be active. “I’m giving you the window from 4 PM through 4 Am. That should be enough time.” He announced as he handed her the three cards. “Slide these at the gate when you leave so that the notice comes out on the Dorm supervisor's print out sheet, or else Zack and Ayzen will get in a lot of trouble ok?”

Alric got a stare which he is not too fond of and he narrowed his eyes right back at her. See if he helps her on campus again. If pup wants to be dominant then he will allow he to be on her own terms not while he was on duty. Of course he could still chase her out. She isn't a legal student just a shifter whose owner is pretty big for now. Alric shrugged it off and decided not to push it any further so he figured it is time for him to continue on with his daliy routine.

Akira seemed to have come up with a conclusion and came up with the Day Passes for her and her pups. Alric narrowed his eyes again. Weren't students supposed to stay in class? Isn't education important anymore? feeling a bit annoyed he decided it was best to leave. So he placed his hands into his pockets and walked back to the door. "I will see you around Akira-san. Later pup" He said as he left the class room door and decided to go outside.

Tricky as a fox.

She had to keep from letting a grinning smile from going ear to ear as she took the three plastic cards from the dark haired man across from her. The sound of the male by the door caught her attention, but Sooleawa didn’t move her head or eyes to look at him. Four to four? Strange, but Sooleawa was sure Ayzen and Zack would be able to find something to do during that time, the young shewolf just had to get them the way for it.

“ Thank you Akira-sensei” She bowed letting a small smile cross over her lips. The young shape shifter didn’t want to give anything away as she stood back up again. Turning around she headed out the door, to see that Alric had already left. Well at least she wasn’t going to have to deal with him. The male wolf might have been able to figure out what she was up to. After all, Ayane would have probably not have wanted her to go out into the city, that was why she didn’t go to her. The woman always wanted her to take ‘baby steps’ whatever that meant. And Kailyn would have been no better.

Sooleawa was after all still a wild animal under the wool coat of a human.

Just learning to retract those animalist instincts to blend in.

Turning around at the door again she waved goodbye to the dark haired science teacher a happy smile on her face. As she soon as she shut the door behind her the young woman let out a long sign. That had been very hard to remember to say the strange words humans use when talking about themselves. But, it had worked, not to find her black haired pup, the dark haired woman turned to walk down the hall to get out of the science building.

Only to have her stomach rumble in protest to its hunger.

“Noiiieee..” Sooleawa looked down at her stomach, shifting into this form had taken a lot of energy out of her. But she couldn’t go back and raid Ayzen refrigerator for food the doors were locked..

And so were Zacks.

Hunting met she had to shift again and that would only end horriable.

Sooleawa sighed as she turned to walk in the direction of the campus eatery. She would have to do what every other student did for lunch then.

“You’re welcome, Soole. Don’t have too much fun.” He called out as the young shifter left. Golden eyes narrowed slightly as he distantly wondered why Soole of all people was asking him for the passes and not Zack or Ayzen. But then again, Zack is probably still sleeping, and if he remembered right, Ayzen worked during the days. Gods, how those two found time to get into trouble by sneaking to see each other was beyond him. Putting his papers back in the brief case, he checked his watch again.

2:05 PM.

Just enough time to go see Raine for his Physical and get to class. Normally he would go see Kailyn, like he did each and every time the physicals were required. But after today, Akira thought it best that he wait until he could thing of a logical excuse to give Kailyn as to why Raine found out. Gods he hoped that their early morning activity didn’t make things awkward between them. Akira didn’t know what he would do if he lost Kailyn’s friendship. After shutting down his computer, he picked up his briefcase and made his way out of the classroom and towards the other side of the campus; locking the door before heading down the hallway.
