| Glad to hear your feeling better now ^_^ Rose are you happy that you went into a job that you wanted to do, well art. See my mums been worrying about me recently, cause I'm pretty clever achademically but I want to go into graphic design or photography and she's worried I won't get the paycheck I deserve. Or that I'll struggle career wise with it. So basically, is doing a career you enjoy, worth the hassle of the hard-job-to-get-into mess? If that makes sense. |

| I love what I do and that is why I do it. Companies will give you the checks they think you want and they will not go higher than that unless your talents are superb. This is why it is best that you work for yourself. You set everything up and have companies compete for your attention. Some will raise the price others will offer you a job. It really depends on what you are looking for. I work for myself but I will sell my works to people who bid for them. I am not the best artist in the world but there are people who really like what I do and will pay for it. If you do what you love money will not be on the mind because you will be taken care of. Other jobs if you don't like them you dont have to stay. Parents are always overbearing an they just want what is best for their child. Even though it has been proven that what they think is best is never the wisest choice. Do what you love and prove to her that this is something that will always work out. People like Disney and Schultz weren't always expected to be as large as they have gotten. I am sure their parents told them the same things and look at where their talents ended them. | |

| Aww that makes me sad to hear. Maybe I will contact the people I get it from and see what they have to say about it. They inform all of us what goes on. | |

| The only way a publisher picks up a manga or any book for that fact is if they think they will make money on it. It's extremely expensive to publish a book, especially an imported book, so if they can't cover those costs and make money on top of it, it's pointless for them to do it. It's the reason Strawberry Panic Light Novels got dropped by Seven Seas. There weren't enough people buying it to even come close to covering the publishing costs. |

| I know, it's so sad. I have so many series I bought that will forever go incomplete. Depressing. |

| I think we all have that actually. I was shocked that Wolf's Rain was so short. A couple of my other series is getting cut as well. If I was able to import like I do gaming then I would support but our laws are so dumb it makes serializing a series out here almost damn near impossible. | |

| The laws really piss me off. We're supposed to be a free country, yet are told what we can and can't read/have/do. It's ricockulous.
It's not always Japan that drops the series, the publishing companies that paid to import them do. |
