Walking up and stopping at the path that let to the Academy, Trinity shifted the backpack on her shoulder and stared at the two looming gates that she stood infront of. The two cast iron gates stood there tall and solid. And sending a clear message to those who were not appart of the select few who did manage to get in.

She was finally here, at the place she had heard so much about from her Sensei, the place she had worked so hard to get into, and now she was slightly afraid. Yes she had been nervous before but now she had a sick feeling in the deep pit of her stomach. Swallowing and swinging a hand infront of her face to remove her bangs, she walked up to the gate.

Tentivly she reached out to put a small hand on the gate but stopped half way. Was she supposed to just walk in off the street? Clutching her hand to her chest, as if it had been burnt, Trinity looked around. Didn't they have security or guards?

The sick feeling rose in her stomach, clenching her mouth, she looked up the sun was starting to go down and she had no way of getting in.
Looking around for an intercom or anything that would inform some one of her presence and let her in.

Otherwise she would have to find a vacent room at a hotel here, in the unfamiliar city or catch the night train and stay at the dojo in the most extreem case. Thinking about what to do her head lowered Damn it. I wish i knew what i was doing, insted of fumbling around like a fool.

Jerking her head back up Trinity looked at the gate once again. She could see the locks that held it shut on the otherside. On the side she needed to be on. I could pick it or unlock in myself. She thought, thinking of her abilities. They came in handy, but she hated to use them, and would only use them when she had exhausted all other options.

Looking up to the top of the gate and then over to the glowing red orb that had become the setting sun, Trinity sighed.

{Two things. First, I hope you don't mind me joining you. Second, there are global announcements about weather and time for rps. Right now, it's almost noon, according to the admins.}

"Looks like you could use a hand." Azumi smiled, walking up to the main gate. The walk from the mall hadn't taken very long at all. But, then, it helped that she still remembered all the old shortcuts. She brushed her bangs away from her eyes, inspecting the gate. "There should be a card swipe here somewhe--ah, there it is."

Going over to one side of the gate, she swiped her security pass, given to her upon her arrival a few days ago. Ah, the perks of being a teacher. "The gates will open in a few more hours. They're usually only locked around dusk, dawn and during classes for security purposes. It's not like we're being held hostage." She laughed lightly, going over to the girl.

"I take it you're a new Night student? I'm Azumi Hajiri, the music instructor." She held out a hand to the girl, smiling kindly.

[No =] your fine! i don't mind who jumps in! Oh thanks thats the one thread i hadn't gotten around to reading]

Hearing approaching footsteps, Trinity looked over to the woman who was getting closer and closer. "Yes, thankyou." She said nervously bowing her head slightly. Studying the woman for a second Trinity noticed that the woman was just a bit shorter than herself.
Standing there silently as the woman muttered and produced a card from her belongings, then went and swiped it in a small slit in the wall that had gone unnoticed by Trinity in her slightly desperate bid to get in.

The woman spoke again and attempted to make a poor joke, to which Trinity smilled slightly thinking that it would be the most normal thing to do. That is what your meant to do isn't She thought hurridly, trying to scour her mind for what was considered a normal response.

As the woman came back over to Trinity, the lady proffered her delicate hand to be shaken in a gesture of welcome Trinity remembered. It's what humans do.

Nodding at the question, Trinity gently grasped onto the offered hand and shook it twice and let go. "It's nice to meet you Hajiri-Sensei, im Trinity Ōtomo." She said quietly, then placing her hand once more on the back pack of her shoulders to readjust it. She looked up, past Hajiri-Sensei to where the gates were opening.

"Well, then. Welcome to Alculard's Paradise, Otomo-chan. What year are you? I'll take you to your dorm so you won't get in trouble for being out during daylight hours." Azumi smiled, walking past the girl, over to the nearest sakura. Turning back, she laughed.

"And there's no need to behave to suit another's taste. I won't be offended, honest." She winked, leaning against the tree. "After all, to quote my favorite poet, 'most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone elses opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.' For the world to be full of so many copies...is a tad boring."

{Quote by Oscar Wilde. I apologize for the shortness.}

Bowing slightly again at the welcome from Hajiri-Sensei, Trinity looked from the opening gates and replied "Well im eighteen, so i-i-i think im a high school senior..... Thankyou." She watched as Hajiri-Sensei walked through the large gates. Then to Trinity's surprise the teacher reached a sakura tree, she laughed.

Looking up Trinity slowly approached the gates and stared at Hajiri-Sensei, rather confused. Cocking her head to the left side. "What do you mean? Im not sure i understand."

Hearing a noise from behind her Trinity spun her head quickly to watch as the big gates close with a small, swift creak. She sighed slightly, she didn't need to panic anymore. She was on the right side of the fence.
Turning back to Hajiri-Sensei, who was leaning against the sakura tree. Trinity looked at the teacher then to the huge buildings behind her.

You...think? How interesting... She laughed again when Trinity said she hadn't understood. "Ah, well, Wilde can be a bit confusing. All I meant by it is that I can tell you're uncomfortable behaving like those around you. I wouldn't mind if you'd just be yourself...provided you at least follow the school rules, such as attending classes and not hurting others." Pushing off the tree, she started walking down the left-hand path, which leads to the dorms.

"Your acceptance letter should have told you which dorm you're in, along with which room. The senior dorm is Paradiso, and I was just heading there myself." She streched lightly, the muscles in her back warming with the action. After a moment, she began to hum softly, a song she'd heard on the radio that morning called "Amaranth." "The dorms are quite aways down this path, so I hope you brought your walking shoes."

There came a tinkling laugh again from Hajiri-Sensei. Did i say some thing amusing? Trinity pondered to herself.

"Your quote was not the thing i was, to say, confused about. Uncomfortable, is probably not the word either." Here she paused, seaching for the words to explain. "I have get to understand and learn many things about customs and behaviours of others. Mainly the socialogical customs that are displayed by humans." Trinity said chewing the inside of her cheak.

"I have very little self to be." She said thoughtfully, still chewing, then down to a mutter. "After what i did, what ever form or existance or personailty i suppose i had was gone. Now i am just a shell, sitting floating there on the edge of every thing."

Ceasing her mutterings, when she heard the crunch of gravel underfoot, she looked up to see Hajiri-Sensei walking up the path. Trotting along to fall in step behind her, Trinity slumped her head to scan the path. Then a sudden thought came to her mind. How many night and day students were there on this estate? She almost had half a mind to ask Hajiri-Sensei, but she then thought of Far seeking, this would also determine how many students, night or otherwise had some sort of ability and who had natural mind blocks. But deciding against this, because of the most obvious reason that, some would be able to source her and find out who had tried to gain access to their minds, and some would be able to feel her probe, which if she wasn't careful, could work both ways. They would see into her mind as she saw into theirs.

Disreguarding the idea, she followed in line. She had no desire to make any enemies before she even met any one.

(Um would anyone mind if I joined in?)

Fuyuko had been walking around the campus for a little while now. It was such a pretty place and it seemed shameful not to enjoy the scenery around the place for something as silly as a curfew. Besides, she looked normal enough, not having any non-human atributes sticking out anywhere. So she passed through relatively unnoticed.

She hummed a tuneless little song under her breath as she walked, her steps barely making any sound. The wind ruffled her long hair a bit, making her giggle at it's playfullness.

She came upon two others people walking in her direction and wondered if she should say hello. But one of them was a teacher, Haijiri-sensei, if she remembered right. The one with the pretty singing voice. Fuyuko was sure that she was in trouble now. Oh well, it wasn't that big of deal and if she didn't act like she was sneaking out then no one would notice.

So she smiled sweetly and continued on her way.

{Tsu! ^_^}

Azumi frowned at that. It always worried her when she heard such words spoken. Certainly, she knew there was darkness in every heart, but her own heart ached whenever she encountered someone whose sense of self had been overtaken by that darkness. Sighing, she cast the thought from her mind and was about to try to make pleasant conversation again when the scent of a non-human reached her. She glanced at the black-haired girl approaching from the other direction. A single look into her eyes gave her away.

"It's past curfew, dear. What dorm are you in?" If her gentle voice wasn't enough to assure the girl that she wasn't in trouble for being out past curfew, her kind smile should do the trick. She vaguely recalled seeing this girl a few times over the past few nights, but she hadn't learned her name. Of course, that didn't mean the blue-eyed girl didn't know her. She was a teacher, after all, and students tend to gossip.

Fuyuko smiled a bit sheepishly at being caught and folded her hands behind her back to help hide her nerves. She wasn't really used to talking with people despite how forward she may seem.

" Sorry Sensei. Um...I'm in Paradiso dorm. I'm still new here so I'm still getting used to all the rules and such.," she explained with a small bow. Mother had said to bow after saying that you're sorry. It was just the polite thing to do. It was a true statement though but it still didn't excuse her being out after curfew. Fuyuko hadn't really gotten used to sleeping in the daytime and she guessed that she never really would. It was just to weird.

That's when she noticed the bag on the other lady's shoulder. Guessing she was new as well, Fuyuko decided to be the welcoming committee," Welcome to the academy. It's really nice here and once you get all settled in, I'm sure you're gonna love it here."

She smiled sweetly and brushed a bit of hair out her blue eyes. That was one of the downsides to having long hair. It got in the way alot.

Trinity slowed to a stop behind Hajiri-Sensei. She stood there studying the apologetic girl, who was currently bowing to the teacher.
Raising an eyebrow slightly, Trinity watched her as she apologised to Hajiri-Sensei. From watching the girls body language you could see she wasn't really sorry. She had purposedly been out here.

But that wasn't any of Trinity's business.

The long haired girl then turned her focus to her. And with that Trinity openly stared back as the girl gave introductions. ".......Thankyou." Trinity replied plainly.

Turning from the girl to Hajiri-Sensei, she waited for the group, with the new addition to start walking again. When she had stopped, a small wave of tiredness washed over her. All she wanted now was to sleep.

Openly yawning, baring her sharp fangs, she blinked lazily at the teacher and then turned her head and stared at a tree.

Fuyuko lost a bit of her cheeriness but she didn't think that the girl was being rude. She might just be shy or something and it wasn't nice to pester people. That was what her mother said after all. Momma had always given her good advice before so it wouldn't fail her now.

Then she caught a glimpse of the other girl teeth and was a bit surprised. Ok, she was very suprised since she hadn't seen teeth like that ever. Fuyuko hadn't started her classes offically yet since she was still gettting settled (and warning the teaching staff about her as well. What with her uncontrollable powers and all.) She would start them offically later on that evening.

She moved closer to the other girl, probably invading her personal space to get a closer look, "Whoa, what cool teeth! You're a Night Student too, aren't you?" she said in childish wonder, clapping her slender hands together in excitement.

Fuyuko hoped that she was. It would be nice to have a friend in the Night Class and maybe school wouldn't be as lonely as it had been for her in the past.

Azumi giggled softly, glancing between the two students. I certainly hope they get along. They're probably in the same class at some point. Brushing her bangs from her eyes, she took a step forward. "Alright, let's get on to Paradiso, then, girls. Remember not to stop to mingle with the Day Students, and there won't be any issues." Sighing, she shook her head. She really did hate that rule. She could still remember how annoying curfews had been eighteen years ago, and she couldn't imagine that the current students liked them any better than she had. Sure, she knew why the curfews were in place, in theory. She also knew they worked, in theory. In practice, however...all they were to her was a bloody nuisance.

Don't let the Night students mingle with the Day. Scold a Night student caught out in daylight without permission. Hurry a Day student to their dorm if they're out past dark. Surely, there's a better way to avoid messy situations. I mean, honestly, it sucks to be unable to go outside while the sun's up, and some people especially like moonlight strolls through the garden. It's almost cruel to deny those simple pleasures... She cut off that train of thought. It never did any good to dwell on unpleasant things.

I'll get to see Nemo soon. And that one thought was all it took to divert the train wreck that would have happened in her heart if she'd continued to think about the curfews' negative aspects. She owed her kit a big hug...and probably a jar of Nutella.

Finishing her yawn, Trinity watched as the girl became excited and came very close, clapping her hands. Stepping back a bit, she gave the girl a confused look. She didn't understand the excitement over teeth.

Was it some sort of human thing to compare teeth size?
Nodding in reaction to the second half of the question, her mouth twitched slightly in an effort to be nice and smile. From the question she supposed that like herself the bubbly girl infront of her was too.

Turning as Hajiri-Sensei spoke, Trinity nodded again and followed again in line behind the woman.
Taking a look up at the sky, Trinity was disappointed this would be the last time she would see the sun and sky for a while. She had made herself a creature of the night.

Thinking about the teachers comment about the day students, she frowned. She knew from reading the information pack that the students were segregated, which she thought was pointless. Why have a school that catered for both of the night and day students and yet not let them mingle.

Walking up a path the group came to a building, slowing down Trinity looked at the building. It had the word 'Night Dormataries' engraved on a sign.

Her fellow Night student, whose name she had yet to get she realized, seemed a little weirded out by her actions. Had she done something weird again? She thought back but couldn't think of anything odd. But then again she didn't have much experience with interacting with people so she really couldn't say. She sighed but guessed there was nothing to do about it.

Fuyuko sighed but starting following them back to the dorms anyway. It's not like she could get out it since sensei was standing right there but she hated the dorms. She was off in a room by herself away from everyone and while she understood the reason behind it, what with her uncontrolled powers and all, that didn't mean that it wasn't lonely. Oh what she would give to be normal and not be such a monster; she was what she was and nothing could be done about it.

The air temperature took a slight dip towards the cool side and Fuyuko really hoped that her companions didn't notice it. It would only make her loose even more focus and things always went bad after that. Really bad. She shivered as the memories flowed into her mind and she shook her head quickly to get her mind back in order. Remember what Mother said, Focus is key. Focus is key.

As they reached the door to the dorms, she decided it was rather rude to not tell her companions her name. Plus, it would serve as a much needed distraction from the chill. She smiled what she hoped was a sweet smile but it felt akward on her face," I suppose I should introduce myself. I'm Fuyuko Aster but you can call Fuyu if you like. It's much shorter and easier to remember." she giggle a bit, remembering the old story of just how that nickname had been born.

"Winter child. Its a nice name." Trinity said remembering that the name ment. She then went to eye the giggling girl. If the girl was putting an effort into being nice then Trinity thought she should too. She didn't want to offend any one on the first day.

Looking down at her arm, she watched as her skin prickled and formed goosebumps from a sudden coldness that had come down. Looking around she saw the sun still out. "Strange." She said more to herself than to her companions.

Looking up again to meet the eyes of Fuyuko, Trinity smiled briefly and said "I am Trinity Otomo. I get called Rin, some times, so you can call me that. But i respond to either." She felt her cheeks burning slightly from the cold and from her own slight embarrassment. She rarely told people what her older sister used to call her, so it was a slight shock to her to hear the words come out of her mouth.

Shifting slightly on her feet, she brought her hand up to rub the back of her neck. She felt awkward, standing there under the scrutiny of the other's eyes. She wanted to know what they were thinking. But she knew as this was a 'special' school, Fuyuko would probably sense her intrusion. Because unlike humans, the night class students had similar abilities.

Azumi paused as they reached the doors to the Night Dormitories. "Aster-chan, would you mind showing Otomo-chan to the Paradiso wing? I have someone I need to visit." She smiled at the girls apologetically. While she would normally enjoy spending time with her students, she was worried, nonsensically, that she would miss visiting her son if she delayed her visit any longer.

After another moment, she was gone, gliding through the hallways to Paradiso.

{I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so long for such a short reply.}

[Azumi has left Academy Grounds and gone to PARADISO: Nemo and Tadashi's room.]

Watching the teacher walk away, Trinity turned to Fuyoko "If you dont mind, but i would like to find my own way around." Sighing she bowed "It was very nice to meet you Aster-san."

Without waiting for a response she walked through the doors and came too a map of the dorms, taking a quick look she knew where to head. Leaving the girl at the door the walked down the hall. She had decided she just wanted to be alone at the moment.

[Trinity has left Academy Grounds and gone to Paradiso; Room 32, Trinity Otomo.]

Fuyuko came back to herself when she saw that Trinity was leaving. She couldn't find sensei anywhere so she assumed that she had already left.

Fuyuko had been desparately trying to keep herself in control and had been worrying that her powers were on the fritz again. Her control came and went like sea tides. She could be in complete control one moment and freezing or raining on everything around the next. It was very frustrating but there wasn't much else she could do.

But since she had risked enough, she decided to just go back her dorm room. She didn't want to hurt the other students, she realized that she had been foolish to leave in the first place.

So she turned and went back to her room, hoping to keep the damage to a minimum before she got there. She was not sure if she succeeded.

(ooc: I'm SO sorry to left you guys in the lurch like that. I really hope that you can forgive me. T_T)
