Thinking by a window [Closed] Empty
PostSubject: Thinking by a window [Closed]   Thinking by a window [Closed] EmptyTue May 11, 2010 7:32 pm

Akahito walked into the silent library. He had no idea what time it was and hadn't bothered to check. The old librarian was snoring quietly at her desk. The sound was almost inaudible but his hearing was better then most. The library always brought him down from a blood high. Which he seemed to still be on. The Night Students should be coming soon so he needed to find a quiet corner quick so he could calm down then walk around to a rather pointless job. The students typically were good except for a few. He ran a hand down his long hair before putting it up into a high ponytail. He hardly ever wore it like this but he needed to have it out of his face right now as he searched and found a perfect corner. He sat on a window seat and stared outside with a blank expression. His mind drifted back to different life times. He always wished he could change certain things about it. But he couldn't. He leaned against the cool glass and sighed very deeply. "I am tired.. I have been up all day."

Fuyuko sighed happily as she walked through the library with a large stack of books under her slender arm. No one would have believed that such a delicate looking girl could carry so many heavy looking books at once. But Fuyuko was alot stronger than she looked.

She was about to go over the counter to check out her books but the librarian was sleeping. Her momma had always said to leave people alone when they were sleeping so she didn't bother the old lady. Even if she did want to check her books quickly, it wasn't like she had to be anywhere since she hadn't started her classes yet. She was so new to the Academy after all.

As she walked around the library humming an almost inaudible tune, she noticed a strange guy by the window. She had no idea who he was but she could tell he was tired. While most girls wouldn't go around talking to strange men, Fuyuko didn't see any harm in it. He seemed normal enough so she didn't see any problem with it.

Fuyuko walked over to the gentleman, and tapped him on the shoulder. Now she was trying to be gentle, but it didn't quite work and it was alot stronger than she thought it was. Not that she noticed since she wasn't really paying much attention at that moment.

" Hey Mister. If you're tired, you should go to bed," she states even though it's rather obivious that's what he should do," Momma says it's not healthy to push yourself."

She smiled brightly after saying this, which lit up her pretty face pleasantly. She was acting more like a child than her real age of eighteen, not that he knew her age or anything.

(I hope that you don't mind me joining you.)

Akahito didn't really react when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He could hear her walk in but didn't say anything. When she got closer he sighed and turned around a the tap. Although the tap was rather more of a punch for some people, to Hito it didn't really hurt due to what he was. He could get ran over by a cab and be fine. He has tried it before. He studied the girl and instantly knew she was new. After all he knew who all the Night Students were.

"Ahhh... Hello.. I can't really go to sleep.. I have to watch over the Night Students. It is my job after all Miss." Akahito said smiling. The girl looked sweet and naive. He raised his arms and stretched tiredly. He then noticed the books in her arms. "Checking out books I see. The librarian must still be asleep. I'm surprised she isn't always asleep. That job must take alot out of her. She should wake up in a few minutes though." He said chuckling. He stood up and stretched his legs and yawned but returned his gaze outside.

Fuyuko bite her bottom lip at bit in embaressment. This guy was a teacher or some other type of authority figure so she had no right to try and tell him to do anything.

" Sorry, Mister. I was only trying to help. Just be careful though. Some of the Night Students are dangerours," she replied. ' Like me ', she thought sadly. She had kept a surprisingly good control of her powers so far but it wasn't likely to last long. It never did, no matter how hard she tried.

She set the books down since she didn't really feel like holding them for a while. Plus, she was starting to get those weird red marks on her arm from the weight. She rubbed at them idly trying in vain to make them disappear.

She turned back to gentleman with a soft smile," Are you a teacher or something, Mister? I haven't had the chance to meet any of the teachers yet?" She was honestly curious as to what his job was but Momma had said that asking people about their jobs randomly wasn't polite.

She passed a glance over to the sleeping librarian," Yeah I hope so. I wanted to get these lovely beauties back to my room before it got to late." She patted the books lovingly. She adored reading and couldn't wait to get started on these.

Akahito looked at the girl. "No problem. And I am well aware of the danger. After all I am a Night person." He said chuckling. He rubbed his eyes and sighed. He really needed to stop staying up so long. It was taking a major toll on his body and at this rate he won't be able to function right. "I'm an Alculard. I help watch over the Night Students. " He answered. He then checked the time. Late... "The library should be getting busy soon.." He mumbled to himself as he waited for the students to walk in the library door.

Fuyuko tapped her finger on her chin for a few seconds while she thought. That name sounded familar, now why did it?

Then it hit her. Oh yeah. The name of the Academy, he must be one of the people that ran it.
" Oh yeah, You mean the people that run the place right? The one's that let me come here so that I could learn how to not freeze people when I shake their hands.." she said somewhat sadly. She knew that would probably surprise him sicne they had never met. They staff had been warned about her, she knew that they had to be. She was too dangerous and would need to supervised.

She bowed politely, instead of trying to shake his hand." I'm Fuyuko Aster. You know the "Quarantine" student." That was what she though she thought she had heard some of the staff call her. While it hurt to hear, they were right. She did need to be quarantined from most of the other students. But she pushed those thoughts aside." Which Alculard are you anyway, Mister? There's more than one ya know ?" She just couldn't resist teasing him a bit even though she knew that Momma wouldn't have approved of it. She said respect your elders at all times.

She had a feeling that he already knew about her abilities though, nearly all the staff did. Since she was so dangerous, they had had to be warned about her. She really did cause nothing but trouble everywhere she went. Fuyuko sighed sadly at her thoughts. She really needed to stop hurting people but she just didn't know how. It was so frustrating. She pushed the thoughts out her mind again. Momma said that being depressed about it wouldn't change anything so it was really useless to stay sad about it all the time.

Even though that's how she felt, the air still took on a distinct chill due to her depression. Almost like a Winter's afternoon even though it was supposed to be Spring.

"Trust me there are some people who can do much worse." He said hoping it would reassure the girl. His sat down once more. "What a pretty name. I know about you but not because of anything dealing with quarantine. I know all the students because it is my job. And knowing this school you might have heard that word from a teacher. Ignore them on that. They are ignorant. There are many kind teachers who would never say such things though." He said smiling. He then chuckled at the question about what Alculard he was. "Yes our family is quite large. I am Akahito Alculard. I help watch over the Night Students. But you can call me Hito." He said with a kind smile.

His attempt at reassurance was nice but it didn't really help all that much. It wasn't just the freezing people that she was worried about. She could alot worse to people, alot worse.

The air grew even colder and few snow flakes fell from the freezing air. Apparently, the cold was all the librarian needed to wake up since she started to stir.

Fuyuko smiled but it was somewhat sad as she caught a few of them in her slender hand." I did hear from a teacher but it's all right, Mister Hito. I don't really mind all that much since it's true and all. I've been called worse anyway." she said in an effort to take some of the blame off the teacher that had said it. It wasn't the guy's fault that she had overheard.

Her sad smile brighten though at the mention of her name, she closed her eyes and nodded rapidly in her happiness," Thanks alot, Mister Hito. My momma gave me that name." Nearly any mention of her mother was enough to brighten her spirits. The air lost a bit of it's previous chill as well at the brightening of her mood.

She looked up at the clock and then noticed the librarian was awake. As nice as talking to Mr. Hito was, she needed to get back to the dorms because of her curfew.

" I need to check those books out and head back to my room cause of the curfew and all. But it was nice to meet you too, Mister Hito," she smiled sweetly as she gathered her books and went over to the now awake librarian to check them out.

After she checked them out, she turned as was leaving (walking backwards as she did so) and waved," Bye, bye Mister Hito. I hope we can met up again sometime." she said with childlike innocence and a large smile. She turned back around and went back to her room.

Thinking by a window [Closed] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Thinking by a window [Closed]   Thinking by a window [Closed] EmptySun Jun 06, 2010 8:11 pm

Akahito watched the girl leave and sighed. Now what to do? He stood up and stretched before yawning. He was quite tired but didn't feel like going back to the estate. He sighed and looked around. The library held a few students but not many so he figured curfew for Night students was fastly approaching. Maybe he fell asleep and didn't realize it. Hito shook his head and yawned again. Damn his tiredness. How long had it been since he had slept. 2-3 days? He shook his head and groaned before walking to the door leading out of the library. Hito waved to the librarian and stepped out. Now where to go? He pulled his ponytail out and ran a and through the thick hair. Then put it in a low ponytail at the base of his head. His yellow eyes traced the hallways for any left over students so he could warn them about the curfew that they "forgot" about. He chuckled at the thought of the excuse. He swore the students must be out of it not to think he was easily fooled by such tactics. He then realized he had let his mind wander off and brought back to the task at hand. He had to get going. Hito sighed in defeat. He would have to go back to the Estate to sleep.

[Akahito has left the LIBRARY and gone to ALCULARD ESTATE]
