Late Eater! [Closed]

Kou ate his cooling fires at a slower rate. Listening to the answers and examining the 2 people before them there was no mistaking the fact that Anitan was Alric's son. But both looked young and now since they are shifters the real questions just zoomed around in his head. He was going to head back into his office and jot all these things down before he forgot them. It was only going to be him and Alric thus far.

Jethro got up and excused himself and Kou couldn't help but smile. "You have a good day Jethro and catch up on sleep." Kou said as he watched the little boy wander down the stair case. His eyes turned back to the 2 people left at the table. Anitan soon got up and Kou noticed he was a bit smaller, muscle wise, compared to his father but that height was still there. "Yes teach him well Ani and thank you." Kou said as he stretched. Now it was just him and Alric alone on the top balcony. Which usually meant the rest of the Alculards are either in class or being lazy as usual. If Fae is isn't on campus yet she will be and more than likely causing a ruckus. Kou sort of flinched at that because that meant another lecture and it was going to be long knowing Aunty Fae.

When Alric spoke Kou got his concentration back up and chuckled slightly. "I am inviting you to my favorite spot for a reason Alric. I am not angry if that is what you mean." He said as his phone buzzed in his pocket. he pulled it out and the message stated someone was in the office. Closing it he sighed and stood up. "Sadly however I must depart now and see who it is that stepped into the office. I will see you later on Alric. Take care." Kou gathered his plate and went to the back and grabbed a to go box. After placing his lunch inside he took the back stairs and headed out the door.

The boy looked up at the man with surprise, "A dojo? That might be a good place to investigate. I wonder," he broke off and shook his head. "Thank you, do you believe anyone would mind too much if I do go east and check it out?" He looked around, unsure of whether it would be more rude to stare at the male or at the door; either way, Jethro would be uncomfortable. A child he may be, but he knew there were dangers in the world, and he knew, too, that he wanted to learn how to defend himself from them. What better place to learn self-defense, if they offered beginner's classes in the dojo. Otherwise, he was going to have to find a way to learn on his own. It wouldn't be the first time, but it was better to have a teacher there. He wanted to just leave without hearing an answer, but that would be incredibly rude, and the boy still didn't know who reported what back to his guardian; his absolute best behavior when he wasn't alone was the only way he could be sure that James wouldn't hear anything about his ward that Jethro didn't want him to. It didn't matter how trustworthy anyone seemed at the beginning; all that mattered was keeping off the radar as far as James Monroe was concerned. He could daydream of being himself without getting in trouble, but he'd never act like he wished while he was still under James' control.

Kousei packed up his food and left the old wolf at the table. His golds scanned the floors and once no suspicious activity was happening he sighed and looked at the table. What was he going to do now that Kou knew? Last thing he wanted was to be meeting all the Alculards and they each bug him about keeping this side a secret from them. Suddenly an urge in him had him curious and the best place to go for information was the Commons when you wanted to Study away from the library. He was definitely going to have to rethink his strategy and what he was going to tell Kousei. Swiftly he got up and walked down the stairs quietly but stopping half way. Jethro and Ani looked to be talking about something so he decided to jump down from the left side of the banister and make is great escape without being seen.

So this is the so-called paradise...? was the first thought that crossed Kaine's mind as he passed through the corridors, scouting the whole area. Fancy. And you could even ring the bell.
The silver-haired boy chuckled and quickly gave his wristwatch a glance, knitting his eyebrows in a troubled manner. It's evening already! I'm laaaate. Guess It's my destiny to miss my classes... wait, what?

He suddenly stopped, staring blankly at the cafeteria.
Hell nooo. Don't tell me that I'm in the wrong building. Perfect. Awesome. Why must this place be so huuuge?

After a while of uncertain standing at the treshold, he finally decided to dive into the cafeteria life. Someone might be able to give me directions where the freaking dorms and classes are. And maybe I could get a dinner as a bonus.
Kaine picked up the food tray, casting an eye over the pre-made dinner available for students. What should I do now? Don't panic - look confident... He was definitely panicking and screaming deep inside, trying to unobtrusively catch the attention of the little black-haired boy (he couldn't make a fool of himself in front of an adult person, right?). Heyy there kiddo.. don't leave... help?

Ani just chuckled as he patted the boys' shoulder. "I highly doubt they would care if you go there Kid. You have to learn the campus some how." He winked at Jethro as he noticed a breeze behind him. As he turned he saw no one there just more students coming into the Cafeteria for lunch. He pushed the young one a little to the door. "Go and explore. Get to know your Sensei's on this campus and your potential classmates and other brothers and sisters of the campus." He smiled as his nose was picking up more scents. A new one meant they had another new student. His nose was faster than his old man's and he sure as heck needed to get into gear with names. The person came right up to the 2 and addressed Jethro first. Ani looked confused but a smirk settled on his face. Seems now he had 2 new students to take care of but first he was going to play a little game with them.

He ignored the pat on his shoulder; the boy understood that the elder male was just being nice. He had said something about getting to know people, but the boy was too busy trying not to shy away from the touch to hear it clearly. It was on the tip of his tongue to thank the elder male when he was pushed by him. His voice lowered, "Please refrain from touching me as much as possible," the boy politely asked, but it was a statement, his painfully stiff spine and the fact that he'd moved away from the male made it quite obvious he didn't like physical contact. He was going to apologize, but another student interrupted, speaking to the child apparently. Jethro turned to face the speaker; great someone else taller and older. Where were all the children around this place? "I'm afraid, sir, that I won't be of much help to anyone. I just arrived on campus, you see." He was extremely tempted to just make a run for it; he'd been told to explore campus, after all, but it would be most rude, and likely reported to James Monroe. The boy could have bitten his lip in vexation if he wasn't so used to hiding everything that the very thought of doing so was laughable.

"Then i apologize." Anitan said with a smile. He could smell a familiar sent again. Suka. He gave off another smile, he knew his son's sent too good. He stood up. "I'm gonna have to take my leave. It was a pleasure talking to you." He streched his arms. He promised Suka a run at some point during this week. And the young pup was anxious to get going. Leaving Suka alone on campus in dog form meant young school girls would drool over his cuteness. "Be careful kid."

The child was getting a little nervous about the fact that the elder boy hadn't said anything. Was something wrong? Had he said something improperly? Jethro almost lost enough control to shift around on his feet, but he wasn't sure just what reaction that would cause. Just when Jethro figured that he'd leave the adult and the other boy to go explore on his own, Anitan left. Now what was he supposed to do? You can't just stand here forever waiting. You need to learn the campus as quickly and efficiently as possible. Mr. Anitan did say that no one would probably mind any way. Now all he had to do was find a way to leave without seeming rude to the other boy. "I'm going to go explore the campus myself. You're welcome to do the same. The dorms are through that door," the boy pointed at the door he had come through earlier, his tone betraying that he did not want company on his exploration. He hadn't had time to adjust to the place before being thrust into meeting more new people. Now he desperately needed that alone time to get back on track. The dojo would probably be empty at this hour, and it was the perfect place to begin learning everything possible about the campus. He gave the older boy a half-bow before excusing himself. Jethro left through the door he'd been itching to go through since he found out what it would lead to.
