Teachers Meeting [Closed]

It is around mid afternoon almost evening. The setting sun paints the sky in it's brilliant oranges and golds as it colored the clouds in pinks and lavenders. The only students left around campus are those who are part of a sports team or a club of some sort like art. The only reason why Kailyn would be here at this time is because of the meeting that is going to be held soon by the principal of the school. Kailyn sits by an open window as he looks out and below him at some of the students practicing religiously in their sports. They look like zebra on a field. Running and guarding themselves against the lions of the plains. Although Kailyn can think he is still waking up because he is normally asleep around this time. He doesn't teach until around seven or so. Since he is becoming even more tired by watching his lovely students down below he turns to his pad of notes and clicks his pen top as he tries to stay awake. This school has students separated for a reason here and he teaches only at night while the humans teach and attend class during the day. Kai leans back into the chair and places his feet up on desk as he closes his eyes and becomes lost in his thoughts.

The teacher lounge is pretty empty right now and the halls are as silent as an empty park. The silence was good for Kailyn since he is tired and since it was empty that ment he wasn't violating any rules being around at this time. You see this campus was developed for all to attend it from rebels to aliens from other planets to beings of unimaginable races that exist in a parallel universe. Because of the human paranoia that floats around the principal has separated the students of non human descent to attend night classes and humans to attend during the day. Most of the time the students will never cross each other but the teachers will due to all of their meetings. The grounds must be empty of students by Dusk according to the rules and the night classes start at Night or at least when the stars and moon start to show. Both times the school is active day and night and the teachers can't seem to ever get a break from any of it.

Kailyn opens his eyes slowly and lets his ice blues scan the room. Still no one around maybe they forgot about the meeting or postponed it for whatever the reason. A little annoyed at the fact that he was in the meeting room alone he looked down at the fields and noticed the students cleaning up quickly. Some lived at the dorms here on campus while others still lived with their parents because they couldn't afford to stay in the dorms so they need to hurry and catch the bus routes home. Kailyn sighs as he turns back around in his comfy office like chair and slowly closes his eyes again. His wolf ears twitch as they are listening for noises to come from the hallway while his horse like tail swayed back and forth like it was following the slow beat of a metronome. I hope this meeting is quick. I really don't feel like being here today. Kai mentions in his thoughts as he lets his body react to things naturally while he rests his eyes gently into his sockets. Fatigue and teachers always seem to go hand in hand for some reason. Is it a curse or is it a way of life??

The young blonde teacher ran a tired hand though his hair as he walked down the halls towards the teacher’s lounge. He had a stack of papers inside a fold in one of his hands, student’s papers he had been reading to grade for the last hour before he realized he was running late to the teacher meeting, again. Kyrian sighed to himself as he walked quickly down the hall. He had only been teaching here on his own for the past three years, and he enjoyed it helping young aspiring writers. Giving them assignments to help they’re creativity, though at the moment he was wishing he remembered to give his students a page limit on his last assignment. Out of his fifty student’s through out the day he had only been able to read and grade ten papers. In the last three hours.

He was going to be up late with this, for he hated making his hardworking students wait to see their critiqued works. So Kyrian pushed himself to get their work back to them by at lest the next day. As he turned the corner and opened the door to the teacher lounge, he expected to be very late, as custom for him it seemed. To get annoyed looks from the night teachers or some smearing jokes for the day ones. Something about him being to young for this job, after all he had started teaching Creative Writing here at Aluclard right after graduating from college. Though to his surprise there was only one other person in the room, looking half a sleep with his horse like tail moving back and forth. It was rather early for the night teachers to be up. Closing the door quietly behind him, Kyrian rested his free hand behind his head, a light smile on his face as the other look at him.

“Am I that late, Kailyn-san?”

Kai's wolf like ears stood up as if they had a mind of their own acting independently not only from each other but from the owner as the door was being opened and being closed gently shut. Kai's ears followed the motion as the door was being closed they went down yet his tail kept swaying from side to side as if it was keeping a tune still like before. It seemed like nothing would stop it from moving in this beat tracker like motion. Kai was curious to know who this was coming inside so he slowly opened his eyes and low and behold one of his favorite teachers was walking in. With a folder full of his students papers no doubt.

"Am I that late, Kailyn-san?"

Kai just smiled as he adjusted himself in the comfy office seat and pushed another out for his comrade to sit on his right hand side next to him. "Late? Far from it. Either we are both early or they cancelled the meeting and I haven't caught wind of it thats all. Ending another day full of paperwork I see again Kyrian-chan? Kai asked as he removed his feet from the tabletop and pulled himself closer to the table so they can chat. It was far better than being alone in here waiting for something that might not even happen for all that they knew. It wouldn't be the first time they came in for a meeting and then it was suddenly cancelled out of the blue. Well he figured that Kyrian would be more at ease now since there was no one to tease him for being late or looking at him funny. Kyrian may be young but he has a lot more heart and soul in his work than some of the other teachers here and even those who have been here as long as Kai has. "Do you know what this meeting is about this time? I know that it isn't time for grades and such. Unless it is about more staff and students on campus." Kai ponders as they sit in the silent yet peaceful room. Waiting for everyone else to arrive. That is if they arrive!

“Really?” Him early, that would be a first in a long time, the young blonde teacher slightly laughed to himself at the thought as he walked away from the door to the chair the other had pushed out for him. Sitting down he rested the folder of papers on the table, still wondering if he was ever going to be able to get them tonight or if he was going to have to let some of his students down and make them wait another day. Some of the older teachers that would have told him to just take his time on it, for students could just wait for their grades. But he hated waiting when he was still in school, anxiety of wanting to know if he had passed the assignment or not would eat him for days at time. Especially when the assignment was worth a fourth of his grade; how he did not misses those days for one reason or another.

“Midterms are coming up soon. Maybe it’s about that? Though it was suppose to start half an hour ago…” Kyrian suggested as he leaned back in the somewhat comfy office chair. It had been a long day, getting up around four this morning to finish grading the last of his students’ poetry book assignments. He was going to need a lot more coffee when he got back to his apartment within the Amare Dorms, between breaking up any arguments between students or followed the rules and getting his papers graded he might only get a few hours of shut eye again. Gold eyes shifted back to the man next to him studying his wolf like ears. He remembered when he first met all the night class teachers, and the surprise [or shock] it had given him when he first came here. “It’s rather early for you isn’t it? We could give it another ten minutes, if no one else shows up, I’m sure you’d like to get a some more sleep before your classes start.”

Kailyn watched as the young teacher sat down in the chair that he pushed out for him. It appears that he hasn't sat almost all day and the folder was full of paperwork like Kai thought about before. Interesting how Kai's senses seemed to be working just fine for being up early. As Kyrian responded to the question Kai leaned back into the chair again and sighed. "Midterms do start tonight for most classes. I heard there were a few who were let off the hook and are starting theirs later on this week. Unless it is about how we are testing during the midterms?? It boggles my mind trying to figure this out." Kai mentions to his comrade as his ears twitch a little bit because of the situation. One he was asleep for a while until he heard the announcement and two Kyrian and him are the only ones here right now. Kai scanned the room and looked outside to see that the sun has already set and some of the students for night were starting to make their way to the campus from their dorms.

Kai yawned as he turned back to the table and Kyrian asked about him being up early. Kai turned to the young teacher and smiled as his tail wagged. "Such concern I love it. It is early but he made the announcement for a meeting tonight. So I got up, got dressed and came here. More sleep would be nice but I will manage throughout the night. What about you? From the looks of things it seems like you will be grading all night again?" Kai mentioned as he tapped the folder lightly with his left index finger. Kai memorized the young staffers schedule: they make an assignment, turn it in, and the young teachers grade them all night. It is a growing concern for the older staffers because some teachers have left in the past due to being overworked and Kai wasn't ready to see this one leave. As he brought his tail to his knees he cocked his head to the right resting his cheek in the palm of his right hand. "You know Kyrian you should slow down on the grading. It would become a real problem if you overwork yourself and get sick." Kai's tail would lift up and fall as he mentioned this. A worry like tick it had when Kai became concerned for someone's health. But then again he teaches health so it was normal for a teacher to be concerned especially when it came to his students and comrades.

“Come now, Kailyn-san. I’m fit as a fiddle! ” The young blonde teacher cracked a hearty smile at the other as he flexed one arm and patted it. Not that one could see any muscle tone on him since he worn rather loose fitting shirts most the time. But he still went to the school’s Dojo every other morning for practice and for most of the week he did sleep decently just not when he was getting his assignments back from students. Gold eyes watched the horse tail’s movement in slight amusement, one of thing he loved about working in this school where they people he worked with, like Kailyn. It was a good source of muse for his writing. He looked away after a moment to the setting sun outside, the night students would be filling the halls soon, he’d have to be careful on his way out of here not to get caught up by some again. After all he was just a ‘human’ and some of the students here like to eat/drink his ‘kind’.

“ Besides, the school will have spring break soon. Lots of time to catch up on my sleep….” Kyrian half laughed, even though he didn’t really like it when the school took its breaks. Students he had grown attached to would return home for the time, some teachers would leave to and he’d be alone on the campus. He didn’t really have family to go visit, and didn’t like being a burden to his Grandmother. Sighing he ruffled his own hair a bit before leaning forward at the table to open the folder in front of him scanning over the next story he was to read. It was one of his rather prized student’s, Damien Yamimoru, that he had the pleasure of watching grow into his writing abilities since he started teaching here. “ Can’t help myself sometimes….. Some of these students are really talented…”

As he got from the shower, he knew there was something he was suppose to do that day. But he couldn’t remember. Shrugging off the thought he got dressed for his morning run. Every morning around 5 am he’d get dressed in the right gear and go for a mile run. Running always helped ease his mind. Reason being why he assigned to be the Soccer teams assistant coach. Even when tryouts were done, he’d participate so he got more than enough exercise per day. Even though it was dangerous for him to do so with very little sleep, mostly non at all. His insomnia was a bad factor.

A good factor to his Insomnia helped him teach both Day and Night Classes. As well as being able to get most of his grading done in one day when it would take some teachers a few days to do. Sometimes he would have this moments, when he’d pass out from exhaustion and miss class. Of course he was excused for the situation, and would miss school for a day or two until he either woke up on his own, or a teacher or student woke him.

He walked along the hallway of the school, around noon time he was actually hungry. Usually around the time he ate lunch. As he walked into the cafeteria, he didn’t see many teachers. Why was that, was there a teachers meeting? He bolted from the cafeteria, running across campus to get to the Teachers Lounge. Why was he always late to meetings? He always seemed to forget them most of the time. He was nearly out of breath from all the previous moving when he made it to the teachers lounge.

He busted through the door, accidentally dropping the books he was carrying, falling forward the whistle around his neck flew off with a small cling. “Dammit..” he mumbled as he sat up, rubbing his head. He looked around the room with his grey eye‘s. Only two other teachers there. “I’m not late?” he questioned, still rubbing his head. He knew the other two teachers. He knew most of the teachers at the school. One from Day and one from Night. Were they the meeting?

Kailyn's tail moved up and down even more as Kyrian mentioned to him about being fit as a fiddle. Even though it was a figure of speech as he witnessed the tap of the bicep muscle. Kailyn knew Kyrian would come and work out in the Dojo on occasion but apparently it may not be enough. Kailyn sighs as he smirks at the young one. "That maybe so but I can tell that you haven't been to the Dojo as of late. I wouldn't recommend coming this week obviously since it is Midterms my Martial Arts Classes are having their exams. I wouldn't want someone like you to get hurt by accident. Just remain on top of your game and I guess you will be fine." Kailyn knew it was hard to muster up the energy to say it but he figured it would help Kyrian feel a lot better. As Kyrian looked out the window of the setting sun and night started to set in Kailyn leaned back in the seat even more to make it into a lounge chair. "I wonder if there was a meeting at all now that I think about it? Tonight is going to be along one I can feel it" Kai mentions as he rubbs his eyes since they were still exhausted from lack of sleep.

When Kai heard Kyrian mention spring break he smiled as he knew that was the perfect time for anyone to catch up on sleep and get other assignments done. "Are you looking forward to spring break this year Kyrian? You know anything exciting to do?" Although they are teachers they don't see each other too often unless it is times like this for the meetings. Kai's ears went down and rested against his hair almost blending in if it wasn't for the outter white fur and white tips to give their location away.

His ears shot right back up as another teacher burst through the door of the lounge area and dropped his books on the way inside. At least these doors slide open otherwise he would have been knocked further into the table almost with as much forced as he used to get it open. The whistle fell off of his neck and Kai could do nothing but smile. It seems like everyone has even forgotten about the meeting. Maybe even the principal that summoned them there has even forgotten about it. Kai just waved his hand at the new invited guest as he pushed the comfy office chair on his left out for him to sit. "We thought we were running late at first but to answer your question...no. Kyrian and I have been waiting for a while now for this meeting to begin. Since it seems like even the rest of the staff even has forgotten about it as well. Maybe even our dear principal who called for this thing. Come sit and join us we were just catching up while we wait." Kai mentions as he looks outside again it seems like the night crowd was starting to set in but classes wouldn't start for another hour or so. So the staff will have enough time for this meeting before they all went their separate ways.

A sheepish grin went across the young teacher’s face as the fact he had been neglecting attending his normal late night class sections at the Dojo where proven. So of stupid of him to forget Kailyn was the one ran the school’s Dojo after all. His student’s didn’t really have much in the way to tests for their midterms, more like research papers for his College Lit classes, work portfolios for his Creative writing class, and who really knew how many smaller projects he made for each of his regular English classes, this week had just been one group after another of finished projects. He wasn’t one to let things pile up so it had been killing the free time he used for things, like working out at the Dojo or ever working on his own personal work.

“ Just a bit of free time that’s all…” Kyrian shrugged a bit at the state of the Spring break, it wasn’t something he looked forward to. It just brought quietness to the campus, and time of stillness that was either a good thing or bad depending on the day. Golden eyes snapped over to the door as someone else shot in, apparently ‘running late’ as well for a meeting he wasn’t sure himself was even going to be happening today. Either that or the Principle really did forget to tell the whole staff it was canceled. The dark haired teacher that came stumbling through the door was probably at least the only other person here that was late to meetings at one time or another but not as much as him.

“ If that was the case, Koichi-san, it would mean the first time I’ve beaten you in…” The blonde teacher half laughed at the others expression as he sat up in his chair a bit.

He gave a smile and a small laugh as he got up.

"Soccer Try outs." He said as he picked up the whistle. "I'll be doing more running now. So i may actually start getting to theses meetings on time." He said. So they were either early, late, or the meeting wasn't happening.

He made his way over to the table the two sat at and pulled out a seat, sitting down. He still had one more paper to grade, he had the time to do so now. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a pen, looking over the paper in front of him. "Heh...Damien seems to be in a mood." He replied. The assignment he gave out was for each student to write a report over a historical event. The minimum amount of the report was to be 4 pages long. But the report he held in his hand was 10. "He seems to write more when he is.." Koichi replied as he flipped to the next page.

After he finished reading over the report, his hand with the pen moved over the top of the page, writing a message long with a grade beside it. Grabbing the rest of his papers the freshly graded report was put ontop, with a sigh, he leaned back into his seat. It was getting close to one of the days when he needed to sleep.

"How are the student's doing in the Dojo? A Kendo tournament should be coming up soon with the other schools."

As Kyrian answered sheepishly about this upcoming spring break Kailyn couldn't help but feel a little bad. Not everyone had a place to go or even call home at that time. All Kailyn ever did was visit the Orphanage on his way to his Vacation Beach Home front. He usually held a party there and video game tournaments for one of the weeks since it seems they may be off for 3 weeks this year. "Loads of free time that's for sure. I only head home for a day and then go to my other house afterwards." Kailyn mentions as Koichi came to join them at the table.

Kailyn smiled as he heard about the tryouts for the sports teams. It ment more physical therapy sessions on his part when their star players were injured. "That time of year already?? Do you guys think we may win the championship this year? It has been what...almost 2 years since we won the last one." Kailyn mentions as his tail goes back to its swaying motion as he uncurls it from his upper body. Kailyn could never get into soccer too much like he could with the other sports but like all sports he enjoyed watching his students pour out their passion and love for the game out on the field. Koichi pulled out a paper and graded it as they sat and chatted. The irony is they were both grading the same student: Damien. He is not only popular with the teachers but also among the entire student body for both day and night. It was like he was the Student Body President for the daytime whether he wanted to be or not. Once he finished grading Damien's paper he turn to Kailyn and asked about the tournaments.

"The classes for the Dojo are doing better this year. I may even have some try out for the clubs if they continue to improve on their skills. I think I need to buy more cleaning products for the bamboo wooden floors. My stash is running low again. And the tournaments for Kendo start in 2 weeks. Ironically it is our turn to host it as well. Will you 2 be coming to witness the tournament at all? It's only for the qualifying rounds just to let you know." Kailyn mentioned but he already knew the answer to that. All the staff supported their students in everything. Even the other sports teams would come in their gear and watch the rounds if they had time. Maybe this is why so many students apply to come here but Alculard has to turn so many down due to our size. "Which reminds me our Spring Festival is coming up soon isn't it? Man so much is coming up...this year is going by hella quick don't you think?"

His footsteps echoed down the empty halls as he briskly walked towards the teacher’s lounge. He couldn’t believe how late he was. Today just hasn’t been a good one. First, he nearly misses his first class because his alarm didn’t go off, then one of his newer female students thought that it would be more fun to mix the colors together then to actually look at what she was mixing, and now, to top it all off, he was forty-five minutes late for a meeting. Fifty minutes, he corrected himself as he glanced at his watch. The meeting might even be over by this time. Usually he was the one who was ten minutes early, not nearly an hour late. Upon seeing the door he jogged the last few feet, his white lab coat flying behind him and slid the door open. Golden eyes widened in shock slightly as he slowly entered the room and shut the door behind him.

“Well, this is a first…” He muttered, more to himself then to anyone esle, a small chuckle escaped his lips as he made his way further into the room. There were only three teachers remaining, one day class teacher, one night time, and one that taught both. The silence was both welcoming and a little unnerving, as he sent a sunny smile in the direction of the three men.

“Good Afternoon, Koichi-san, Kyrain-san and Good morning,Kailyn-san..." He greeted, nodding to each on in turn. "Did I miss the meeting, or has it been canceled?” He asked, pulling out a chair next to the dark haired coach.

Even though he called the meeting, he even forgot about it himself. Mostly because he seemed to lose the information packet Kousei had given him. He seemed to do that alot. And when he'd go to get the information from his cousin once more, Kousei would get angry.

He was in the Alculard manor, down in his father's old office, which was now his office, working on the new Lyrics to his song. That was what he did most, besides go out to clubs and parties. It wasn't as if he didn't care for the Academy, he spent his whole life there. Having a private tutor until he was 9, when he started at the Academy as a student himself. He liked the staff, mostly because they all treated him well. Giving him passing grades even if he didn't deserve it because they knew he would be the next Headmaster.

Sometimes power and money did bring happiness. But he did miss his days with his band. Sometimes he wanted to just pass the job over to Kousei officially just so he could go back to singing with his band. They were still off on their tour, doing poorly because the man they chose to replace him wasn't as good as Tosen on the vocals.

He sighed as he got dressed, putting on a long sleeve turtle neck, his long hair flowing free behind him. He could be seen feminine sometimes, but he still held the 'rockstar' presence to him, even though he looked professional.

He made it to the Teachers Lounge, pulling the door open he walked in, shutting the door behind him. His eye's cast over the room, only 3 teachers sat there. "Hey. Sorry i'm late. Working on some new Lyrics." He said with a smirk, setting down the papers he leaned against the wall. The young headmaster looked to the teachers, some of them were only a few years older than him.

Asuko yawned, aqua eyes closing in squints, as she walked down the hallway toward the teachers lounge. A few feet away, she could already hear voices.'Shit. I must be REALLY late.' she groaned silently. left hand coming up to grasp the metal handle and push the door open.

Before stood a few of her fellow teachers. Not all of them, but a good few, and all males. The blonde woman knew everyone, being a teacher of both day and night classes caused that, so she smiled politely and nodded to each man in turn. "Hello Kailyn, Kyrian, Koichi, and Akira sans. I see I'm not too late." she all but purred, half smiling, half smirking. None of the men were bad looking. Hell, no one at this school seemed to be, so she didn't feel ashamed at flirting equally. God knew half of them were probably gay anyway, so what was the harm? "Koichi san, I'll be posting up a notice for the soccer players soon. We'll conduct the tryouts as always, groups of three, scrimmage on Friday." the woman moved her right hand in lazy circles as she spoke. She didn't honestly care either way if she had interrupted a previous conversation, but for manners sake fell silent.

Her brows knit together as she glanced at the clock on the wall. She was very late, so why hadn't the meeting started yet? Night classes would begin soon, and she hadn't had time to nap or even eat dinner yet, a fact that her stomach made apparent by growling quietly. Asuko simply took a seat and folded her hands in her lap, a useless attempt to hush her hunger.

Just a few seconds later, the door was once more opened and the headmaster of the school waltzed in. 'Good timing then. Wouldn't want to be seen as lazy.' she thought quickly, watching the man in the doorway. Of course he had been working on lyrics. It was no secret that the younger man had wanted to be famous his entire life. So had she, just in different ways. But he had come so close, only to be ripped away by his fathers cancer. Poor thing.
She watched in silence, waiting for the meeting to begin officially. But where were the others?

Kailyn heard the door slid open it was Asuko. "Hello to you as well Asuko." Kailyn metion as the door opens once again and low and behold the headmaster himself. Although he is young he has heart just not in the right place at the right time. Kailyn's ears perked up and his tail swayed from side to side. "Well look who it is gentlemen our lovely headmaster. By himself I see." Kailyn mentions. He knows of the Alculard family all to well. Most of the teachers in the room did since most have been here since the beginning.

"Writing songs again? I assume that Kousei found you in your world again. Why don't you invite the band for a pep-rally. It would be a nice touch to get back intouch with them. But that will be handled later. Anyways what is this meeting about?" Kailyn's tail sways more as he mentions the band. The staff has had a taste of what Tosen's voice was like before taking this position. He loves to hear him sing but of course Kousei is always on his case about things.

Kailyn pulls out his pad and pen to take down the notes as he waits for the meeting to get started...

Maybe it was the fact that everyone had just got the time wrong and no one was really ‘late’ Kyrain sort of smiled to himself as he closed his folder of papers back up. He liked taking his time reading over Damien’s assignments rather than just spending through them to get it graded. Though he tried to treat each of his students papers in the same bias manner, it was just some time he took extreme pride in students that showed interest in pursuing the literature field. Golden eyes turned up back to the door as the next two teachers arrive, the dark haired Science teacher, Akira. Not too long after Asuko, the other dorm supervisor for the Amare and the schools drama teacher, walked in. A smile crossed his face, at least he wasn’t the last one in nor did he and Kailyn come to the teacher’s lounge for no reason if all the teachers were slowly coming in now. Though it still didn’t mean that their fearless headmaster hadn’t forgotten about the meeting as well. This of course wasn’t internally impossible, wouldn’t be the first time Kousei had to drag his own cousin to the meeting protaning to the school he ran.

Speaking of which…

Golden eyes shifted away from all of the teachers that had finally trickled into the room one after the other now to the door that opened again to reveal their fearless blonde headmaster. Though his cousin wasn’t in tow after him, so maybe he remembered on his own this time? Kyrian slightly smiled to himself about it, even though Tosen was dedicated to making sure the school ran smoothing for the students that attended here it wasn’t uncommon for him to get absorbed into his music.

“Yes, Tosen-san, it would be great to hear you sing again, I’m sure the students would be ever so pleased if we could get a concert for the Spring Festival again this year.”

“I’m not sure.” Koichi replied as he glanced to Akira, his eye’s averted back down to the stack of papers before him. “I thought I was late, but it seems I’m not.” He gave a brief smile before setting down the pen, as well as the stack of papers. He was done with Damien’s paper, giving the senior a A. The story was quite interesting, the kid had a knack for writing, even when in his moods the words always seemed to flow in the correct way.

Soon more teachers started to arrive. We’re they about to start the meeting? He was glad he showed up before the rest, he didn’t want to look late in front of everyone else. He recognized them all, there were still a lot of teachers non present for the meeting.

Then, the headmaster walked in. The man was only 3 years younger than him and was very immature of Koichi’s taste. Always going on and on about his band, music, lyrics. He remembered when Tosen forced him to go out with him to a club, making him get a lap dance. He was embarrassed and humiliated all the same, even a bit angry about the fact.

He sighed when Tosen spoke of writing Lyrics for his reason being late, even more when someone suggested he bring the band in for a performance.

“Yes, the students seemed to really have enjoyed that last year.” Akira commented, meeting Koichi’s gaze with a smile before his golden orbs glanced around the room. He really didn’t mind Tosen and his musical obsession, though he admit that it was inconvenient sometimes. But it seemed now that the head master had arrived the meeting could finally get started; leaving Koichi and Kailyn plenty of time to get to their classrooms, and Asuko, Kyrian and himself enough time to get back to their respective dorms.

“What issues are we addressing this time, Tosen-san?”

The succubus had been silent while the men around her spoke. Yes, the students most likely would enjoy another concert by their headmaster. That was, if the 'cousins' would allow another. The Alculards were an interesting bunch, always had been. Well, for as long as she had known them, at least.

Asuko leaned forward in her chair and clasped her hands in front of her full lips. "Yes, headmaster. We're all very interested in this meeting." she added to Akira's inquiry, giving the younger man a fairly seductive smile. Of course, she wouldn't dare touch the blonde, her job meant far too much for that. "It's wonderful that you've remembered the meeting on time." she chided playfully, laughing quietly. 'Of course, I've still got to eat dinner, check the dorms, and run over to the night class.' the woman reminded herself silently, impatiently. Her patience had never been too high, and meetings were no exception.

The short flowy dark green skirt brushed over her thighs as she walked briskly down the halls of the school. Black stilettos heels that accented her slim legs clicked on the ground with each brisk step she took. A few hand worked on of the buttons on her black silk blouse loose, hot from the last hour of hunting for the very man she wanted to kill at the moment. The tight bun she had her brown hair in was falling apart a bit, shorter strains now covered the sides of her slightly oval face. Running her free hand through her hair a bit to make herself not look as frazzled as she was, Ayane looked down at the papers in her hand. After spending almost an hour before hand setting up the teacher’s lounge for the meeting today, her hopes for this day running smooth were running thin. Soon Kousei or Ryuu would show up whether she found Tosen or not.

And well the peace of the day would be long gone.

Light brown eyes studied the door in front of her as she neared it, voice on the other side she could hear. Damn it all, Tosen even made HER late for this meeting, when she was the one who had to call it for Kousei. It a silence string of curses, she calmed the look on her face as she opened the door to the teacher lounge. First thing she found herself staring at, was a head of blonde hair, that she had just spend the last thirty minutes looking for, next the teachers that headed each subject the school taught.

Well, better than nothing.

Damage control…..

“ Thank you lady and Gentlemen for your patience’s, and forgive me for the delay. Headmaster Tosen, I found the papers I misplaced…” Ayane cleared the air of anymore chattered as her, ‘I’m boss listen to me now’ tone kicked in automatically. Not missing a beat as she walked into the room and handed her older brother his ‘missing’ papers, which really she had the papers all this time it was only him she was missing. Not bothering to see if her sibling felt any guilt for worrying her for the past forty minutes, the light brown haired woman walked around him to the windows to close the blinds. “ If you would all take you seats, we can start this meeting….”

It had been her scam today, had been to make sure this ran perfectly smooth. Having set up the all the slides on the projector hours ago, pads and pens set around the conference table, water glasses, soda in the corner, and even after meeting ‘snacks’ as it was since some of the teachers would be heading to class after this. She had tried her hardest to keep Tosen out of trouble today. Hopefully grace be with her, tonight would still end without the Alculard household in a mess. Walking around the table to the front she turned some of the lights off and the projector on to show the headlights of the evening meeting. This way, even if Tosen didn’t reading anything in that pile of papers she handed him he could still fake his way through it.

“ As I am sure you all know, midterms are upon us, but we mustn’t forget what else comes at this time of year. The next couple of weeks will be busy for both you and our students as we prepare for the school’s annual Spring Festival and Night Masquerade Ball…..” Ayane continued speaking before turning back to around to the teachers sitting around the table, control for the projector in hand as her eyes came to rest on her older brother. Waiting to see if he was just going to let her run his meeting again.

If not for his sister walking into the room, Tosen would have let the meeting run speaking only of his new Lyrics and his band. But with her there, and speaking in her ‘boss’ tone, he knew he’d better get on toe. Especially with the look he got, and most likely the lecture she was going to give him after the meeting. He could always make a run for it after the meeting, but with his room being right beside hers, and her knowing 85% of his hiding spots from when they were younger, he would get it sooner or later.
He sighed as his eye’s scanned over the papers, his minds scrapping trying to remember what else Kousei had left for him to speak on.

“As my father set for the school, Day and Night classes are not allowed to mix. Just for the safety of both classes. Most of the Day class student’s don’t know of the reason why we separate Day and Night. We want to keep it that way, or at least, my father did.” He said, sitting the papers down on the desk beside him.

He held his serious moments aside from his joking and slacking, and now, his serious expression was showing. “Growing up, I made a friend. Most of you know Saiyuki Aizen. Great woman. Even though she tried to take my blood on a few occasions. Not because she’s a blood thirsty vampire. But because I annoyed the hell out of her. Especially when she stayed at the Alculard estate.” He replied.

“But we need to let them, the Day, know of the Night. If they fear it, we will only try to help them over that fear. We will get guardian’s to make sure no one hurts another.” He nodded. “Which leads to the Masquerade Ball. I want both Day and Night to participate. Just to help them ease into it all. We should set a few dates that allow Day and night to interact. Maybe set up more school dances, or festivals. Of course some festivals will need to be ran at night so out Night time friends won’t burn during the day.”

His eyes looking back to the paper quickly. “We are working on adding more teachers to our staff, along with more student’s. I want this school to be a Legacy left behind by my late father.” To be speaking of his father on a worthy note was different from him. He was still angry that his father died, feeling as though he was played in their contract, but nothing could be done now.

Soon, the seriousness there disappeared as his face lightened into a smile. Bouncing up and down like a child. “Aya-Chan, I have a band for the festival!” He announced. “I’ll call up Oz and see if their willing to do a performance like the old days.” He smiled even more then looked back at the teachers.

“Oh..any questions?”

Kailyn smiled since it has been years since he has seen the little sister of the Clan. She was never really on campus much but when she was everyone would know about it. Without her there Tosen would have been jumbled until Kousei or Ryuu stepped onto the scene but it looks like tonight little miss secretary came through to rescue him from his own flood.

As the meeting went on Kailyn thought about the topics that they went over during the meeting. Of course since Day and Night had different species altogether he wasn't sure how this would all play out. Of course as an old time teacher questions had to be asked. "It has been many years since this topic has come up again and I can see the importance about teaching each other about why they are separated. But how will you go about nominating these so called "guardians" to help keep things at bay during these special festivities?" Kailyn mentions as his ears lay a little flat again against his hair and his tail thumping softly in his lap as he waited for his answer or at least for the other teachers to ask their questions as well.

It isn't that Kailyn thought it was a bad idea it was that this subject was brought to the table before and it had no success. He has faith in this current staff and in the young ones running it but there is always caution to be at play when handleing such delicate situations such as these at the moment.

Golden eyes watched as the light brunette woman walked into the room, taking control over the meeting without skipping a beat. A, the growing ALculard family, the blonde teacher wonder if that meet Kousei or worse, Ryuu where to follow soon. If that was to happen though, this meeting might not ever end.

“ Maybe we should try given certain students that have history of interactment with both class a chance to help easy in the transition?” Kyrain suggested as he leaned back into his chair, setting the pen that had been in his hand on to the table in front of him. Resting his head in one hand for a moment, as he looked about the room. “ This way the student’s have someone of their own respective ages for assistance, since its already hard for some students to come forward to the staff…”

He was actually excited the topic was coming up. He was ready to speak on behalf of both Day and Night class. But his side began to vibrate, a message was coming through to his phone. He would let it pass, and ignore it, check it after the meetings. But soon, it kept vibrating, longer strides. This was someone calling his phone. He reached into his pocket slowly and gracefully, pulling out his cell phone. His eye’ looking over the message sent. His body froze from the words.

He jumped up quickly, his phone dropping to the ground.

“I’m coming to see you IchiIchi
-Mira”

It couldn’t be. She was contacting him after all these years. After the shunning she put out towards him, the anger, the blame. Her whole family blamed him for the death of their child and he couldn’t handle it. He couldn’t even face seeing Mira. Not when every time he saw her face, the face of their child moved into his head. Nayomi.

He quickly grabbed his papers, picking up his phone from the ground. “Akira-San, please inform me on the meetings information.” He said quickly, stopping before Tosen. “I apologize for this outburst…but I must leave.” He spoke before looking around the room at the other teaches, and even to Ayane. “Sorry…” He spoke before he left the room.

Akira nodded to himself as he listened to the questions and comments of the other teachers. He found himself agreeing with Kyrain. He could already think of two people who might be chosen for such a task, seeing as they were so bound and determined to break the rules just to see each other in the first place.

“I agree with Kyrain-san. As well as providing assistance, it will also provide them with an example to follow, of how to act or react in certain situations." The calm business-like atmosphere was broken when Koichi-san suddenly stood up, looking as if his worst fear had been played out right before his eyes.

Akira-San, please inform me on the meetings information.”

"Of course, Koichi-san..." Akira replied, his brow creased with concern as he watched the dark haired teacher go. He had never seen Koichi so startled. He dearly hoped whatever it was, wasn't too horrible. But the look on his face seemed to say otherwise. Akira then took up one of the pads and opened it to a fresh page. He didn't need the notes, since he had a perfect memory. But the notes would help Koichi out, and at that moment, that was all Akira could do to aid him.
